- This is my vintage Marx Johnny West & Noble knights collection. The age of these figures and horses are From 1964 to 1973, the oldest figure being my Daniel Boone, he is from 1964..i have restored and detailed all of them back to their former glory. These were my favorite toys as a child.Hope you enjoy the video...if you have any questions or, would like to know more about the Marx line of action figures, please leave a comment.Would love to hear from anyone who enjoyed these as a child..
You are missing a couple of the Indians like fighting eagle. Princess wild flower
I have both of them now. Fighting eagle is very expensive and hard to find. But I got him now with all his accessories.
I now have the entire collection.
That is a beautiful collection
Sure the design is very simple but almost perfect

I only had Johnny West and one of the horses. No clue there were so many characters.
funny i also had J' west & S' cobra ( who oddly reminded me of the TV character paladin ) , also no horses

I just saw you left me a message about a week ago. What I have been trying to find is the going price on the items I have. I have looked all over the internet but can't even find pictures of some things. I do have some of the figures, horses and wagons. What I am researching is the Ranch house, stable and corrals. I have these in their original boxes. I packed them up when I was a kid, 50 years ago and as far as I can remember they were in perfect condition. I didn't play with it much because it took up so much room when all set up and my mom didn't want to clutter the house. I haven't opened the boxes since then
Hello annie...that ranch you are referring to is xtra rare...i have seen them go for about $300 not even complete..if you send me a list of the figures you have i will tell you what they are worth...i buy and sell a lot of johnny west stuff..and be happy to help you..
Did you repaint your guys, or did my mom buy the cheap ones?

All my figures are vintage from the 60s- 70s so, yes I had to repaint a lot of them.
The original paint over the years just dosen't hold up.
Not sure which ones your mom bought but, in 2000 they did released a reproduction of the johnny west and noble knights line, they were cheaply made and not as good as the originals.
Check the back of the figures your mom bought for a date.
Oh I'm 62, I had the originals in the 60s and early 70s by 1972 I had broken legs & arms by 1972 ish , I took good care of my toys . No little brothers of neighbors kids abused my stuff...
The custom work is fantastic. The black night would be my favorite. I picked up a Viking year or so ago but forced myself not to buy it. I can't start another collection of anything.
Yes..the wife gets on me all the time, an expensive hobby..but, keeps me out of trouble..

I got it on E-bay about 4 years ago, it was a repo set for the horse. The black knight was only issued in the UK, so it can be tough to find.
The gold and silver knights are vintage from 1973, I found them still in the boxes unplayed with, they were mint.
I do get a lot of compliments on my black knight...

These are great, really. If I was a figure in the range, would you like to know what I would be?
I would have the same body as Billy Vine (minus the chaps but still with the vest or waistcoat), the same hat and scarf-tie bandana as Sam Cobra, the same Cavalry revolver tucked into a single black holster with matching black gun-belt on my right-leg, the head like Sheriff Garrett (with hair and moustache changed to my golden ash-blonde hairtone) and the same horse as Mike Hazzard but with the same black saddle and riding tack as Sam Cobra's horse Satan.

I do a lot of custom figures, I have an xtra sheriff Garrett head and a sam cobra body. And could make easily make the figure you described.
I need to make a new video..I have 40 horses and 46 figures now.. Alot are custom figures, with vintage bodies and custom sculpted heads.

Im looking to sell the entire collection as a whole..30 horses, 35 figures, 2 wagons..I have all the original figures, including the very rare, 1 year only Bill Buck, and the rare 1964 Daniel Boone..the rest are custom figures.
Collection has grown quite a bit since this video..
But, if you are looking for just a general custer, check e-bay they have a bunch. He is a common figure, easy to find.

Yes!...which figures do you have?..
Horses with full saddle tacks can fetch $75 - $100..
The figures vary in price..
A rare made 1 year only Bill Buck can fetch $400..
A johnny west with all accessories and box can fetch about $150 - to $200..
A geronimo indian is only worth about $25..
Check ebay, they have alot of figures..
I have 48 figures and 43 horses now..
