Yeah like the baby is more important. Going 2 sizes down when you have no idea how you body is going to respond to giving birth on your first child, was a terrible idea.

For the mommy bride, I don't know what she is looking at. She looks amazing after 6 months. I had to pause the video to take off my glasses and clean them to check. She looks fabulous. I don't see what she is seeing.

I am sorry for your loss, Nikki. Losing a such a close loved-one is very hard. This might sound cray-cray, but maybe, take your Mom's photo with you when you go shopping for your dress - put the photo on a chair, looking out at where you will model the dress. ASK for your Mom's opinion and signs of her approval (and ONLY from your Mom, to be sure). Look to see if extra light is coming out from around the photo, when you think you have the right dress. Even though this will sound absolutely crazy, I noticed, a long time ago, the first Christmas after our maternal grandmother had just passed-on, that there was a whole bunch of light around her smiling pic that sat on a table in the sitting area. My mom noticed it, too - Gramma (my Mom's Mom) was there WITH us in spirit, which brought us joy, through the tears of grief. Ask for spiritual protection and help, to feel safer, and then... see what happens. I expect that your Mom will show her approval. Best Wishes!!

@@22casperlove thank you so much. I lost my best friend 4 months before to cancer, she was just 34 and left two little girls. I know that she is looking after mine for me until I get there, that gives me some peace. ❤️
Oh definitely. Many women do not have that sort of figure 6 months postpartum. I certainly didn’t and almost 4 years later still don’t. 😂 She looks fabulous.
I feel for the first bride. I lost my mom when I was 26 and I’d only been married a little over a year when she was diagnosed with cancer and she was gone in 6 months. I was lucky to have had her with me at my wedding. I wish she had lived to see my babies, which she told me before she died, was her only regret in life. She’s been gone 42 years, and that haunts me to this day. I wish my children could have known her. She would have adored them!
Randy is just perfect for this job. He knows the right things to say and when to say it. Bride number 2 looks amazing in that dress! What’s lacking in that dress was her confidence. I hope she felt better on her wedding day ❤
She looked gorg before the weight loss. She also looked gorg after the weight loss. But in the end, SHE has to feel gorg. Well, done Gabrielle!! And Randy, thank you so very much for being a friend to everyone!! ❤
Randy does know just the right thing to say. That was awesome what he said to the second bride. For the first bride I just felt sad and wish her the best. Hopefully she will feel differently on her next time out looking at dresses.
I think the second bride looked just fine at her first fitting. I'm sure though that it must have been hard for her to see that she was beautiful because there is a lot of pressure on new moms to "bounce back" to pre pregnancy weight or even thinner. Plus the changes in your body are so rapid during pregnancy and post partum that it is hard to adjust or feel beautiful at times. She didn't need to loose the weight to look beautiful in that dress but good for her in putting in the work. She needed that confidence boost and she did it for her.
First bride kept saying that the dresses were too plain, so then the consultant and Randy kept bringing out plain dresses. Maybe she wouldn’t have found anything , it being too soon, but they weren’t listening to what she wanted and were chalking it up to her grieving.
Gosh I get it. All too well. I’m crying just watching this episode. It’s just so hard to be dress shopping only 6 months after her mom’s passing. I lost my mom suddenly as well and I’m still very much grieving over her loss yet. I lost my dad as well which was very hard but losing my mom was beyond brutal and quite traumatic and the hardest loss I’ve ever dealt with. Hugs to this beautiful bride
For me it's the opposite I will never get to see my baby girl in a wedding dress or a graduation gown. I think about that everytime I watch this show. I lost my baby last year I also lost a baby boy in 2011. Knowing I won't get to see them getting married makes me cry but I know one day I'll see them in Heaven with Jesus in their beautiful heavenly gowns. I really feel for this bride just remember your mom is with u in your heart always.❤️
Gabrielle just had a baby, and her tummy is soft and healing. Our bodies go through a lot growing, carrying, and birthing a baby. I wish she could give it the time it takes and accept the beautiful woman and mother that she is.
Maybe the first bride needs to try on a few dresses she knows her mom would have loved..even if she herself wouldn't pick them for herself. I think she's missing her mom's input and she doesn't realize it. She knows what her mom liked on her I'm sure...so if she considers that into her dress trying, it might help.
It’s wise not to take important decisions within the first year of grieving. And she just lost her mom 6 months ago and got engaged. Wishing her the best.

Randy gave her honest opinion! And she did look great the first time after having a baby and the style of the dress was flattering. That's so sad that Gabrielle felt compelled in her gown to lose weight - just 6 months after having a baby! She looks stunning either way, but just as Randy said, she is getting married and her fiancee loves her as is.
Most likely her mom and dad divorced many years ago. Or she probably wouldn't have the kind of relationship with her stepmom to invite her to wedding dress shopping.
Body dysmorphia with post partum ... she sees only the flaws while everyone else sees the entire person. Thankfully Randy points out to her the important connection - her fiancé loves her, and sees her as a beautiful woman regardless of how she feels.
I do think that Gabrielle looked beautiful in the dress the first time, and kudos to her for losing weight. But why on earth don't the consultants ever talk about wearing a body shaper??
Am I the only one who's stuck on fact that first bride's dad already married someone when his wife passed away like 6 months ago like idk but it's just
Most likely parents were divorced long time ago. Otherwise, the bride wouldn’t have a close relationship with stepmom as to invite her to go wedding dress shopping.
I never had the experience of dress hunting. I wore my cousins dress. I was just happy it fit. Gabrielle is having difficulty because because the cart was put ahead of the horse. I realize it isn't a popular opinion anymore but bringing your 6 month old to a dress fitting just seems really weird.
That dress looks lovely on you gabrielle. Don't worry about your baby tummy it will go. Your boyfriend still loves you. That is the main thing.I cannot see much of a baby tummy
SYTTD needs to put a trigger warning for body shaming God forbid an unaltered female body should be shown and celebrated. Frankly, she looks the same at the end. She was fine all along. #sayyestothedress
The second bride's attitude is 🤮 She looked absolutely perfect. I get feeling like you look like a dump truck after having a baby, because I've had 2 kids and nothing fits me the way it used to. But the way she was talking to the alterations lady was unnecessary.
What Gabrielle needs to realize that her wedding photos won't necessarily be from the side they'll mostly be front views and nobody is going to see her after pregnant gut. If she was so worried about her dress fitting she should've started exercising.
I have a bigger tummy than her, without the baby...and I love my figure! She doesn't even have a tummy in the dress. I've had pimples bigger than that!😂

As someone who lives in south Louisiana, yes, they will point out and talk about her stomach.
That is actually awful.
When I was a midwife in South Africa in the early eighties, we used to teach the young mothers to bind their tummies immediately after birth, we used small hand towels, then wear a tight corset/spanx for two months so that the tummy and loose skin went back.
Always remember that you are not wearing the dress. And it is not your day!
Gut girl, please, you look good! Know your worth!!!
That's because none of the dresses they brought out looks nice.
I can take it in but not out
i THINK STRAPLESS WEDDING DRESSES NEED TO RETIRE.
SYTTD needs to put a trigger warning for body shaming
God forbid an unaltered female body should be shown and celebrated. Frankly, she looks the same at the end. She was fine all along. #sayyestothedress
Sister, you made a freaking HUMAN with that body. You're allowed to look like you made a human. Be kind to yourself!
What's going on with Joan's voice?! Is she ok?!
Gabrielle was annoying with all the whining about her gut. She looked about the same on her second appointment. She looked great at both appointments.
Surprise! You look the same!😂
How does anyone know 500 people !!!??? Whaaaaaaaat??
VOCAL FRY....PLEASE MAKE IT STOP
Joans voice is so hard to listen to. It sounds like it pains her to speak.
The second bride's attitude is 🤮 She looked absolutely perfect. I get feeling like you look like a dump truck after having a baby, because I've had 2 kids and nothing fits me the way it used to. But the way she was talking to the alterations lady was unnecessary.
She lost 10-12 pounds on two weeks? How?!?!?
Most likely by exercising and eating healthier food, or smaller portions.

I've had pimples bigger than that!😂
They are bringing out ugly dresses
