Have they not scoped their competition? Do they know or even care how insulting it is? I would Love ta know
Sad part is Krink is still in business because most of the people doing this are old enough to have jobs, and if they're going out and doing tags, then they're probably productive enough to get a job. So, they have enough money to keep buying their overpriced shit, and they do. Short answer: People are dumb, and in today's modern society, there's a lot of dumb people with money. (And smart people with money though, be productive and follow your dreams!)
What's a good mop you recommend for rough cement surfaces that are guaranteed to get the buff? I need something I can keep in a pocket that wont explode on me, refillable, and thick as all hell. Still not sure on my best options as I've never used mops before but I really want to.
Personally I love the Grog Metal Head. The paint is really thick, which I love personally. It is supposed to be permanent and being on a rough surface makes it harder to buff too, but if someone really wants it off, it'll probably come off with a bit of work. That would be the best I can suggest and it's also good value, not too high a price and is refillable. For cement though, Markal B solid sticks are always nice too, as an alternative
@@ScizGraffiti I watched pretty much every mop review you did and grog really seems like the way to go for me. The mop design and the way their ink writes is just beautiful. I picked up an empty molotow mop just to test it out. I'm gonna put grog in that too lmao i hate motow ink but love their pens
1:10 See those are actually cheaper in the UK where i live than markal-b's so i opt for those as markal-b is usually around £2.10 (around $3.70) and the flame solids are around £1.75 (about $2.40). I prefer them because my style has a lot of curvs in it that i cant get very smooth with a markal
Crazy how expensive Markals are over there! Over here you can find them for a dollar. Just shows how the the industry isn't globalized as much as some others I guess. And yeah, I liked how the flame wax markers wrote, and the size of the line was nice actually, but for that much money over here, no way. I have always had a soft spot for the markals anyway haha
I wouldn’t necessarily rate a marker bad based on price. I mostly use these paint markers for autographs and honestly the markers are usually only once. For Krink the K42 line is amongst my favorite they perform so well and provide a solid autograph that just pops out. What is 10 bucks when you already spent a 100 or more on a graph. My go to is this brand, Molotow, and Deco. Though I’ve just been shown some tests of the Evolve line from 004Connec and they look to be a game changer
I have no thoughts on the k42, but the k60 is what I referenced the pricing of in this video. And the pricing is a significant factor, or at least it should be, because the extra 5 bucks or more that krink charges for their version of a normal mop is a recurring cost for real graffiti artists and taggers who are actually getting their name up. The 5 bucks extra one time obviously isn't a big deal, but if you're buying the krink brand of something each time you need a marker and spending the extra 5 dollars each time (say is even one a month), then it's like you're increasing your entire cost of supplies by 50%. (50% assumes another normal mop is $10 while krink's k60 is ~$15)
those krinks are 9 bucks other off brand mops like shop made mops are 8 bucks rather spend the 1 more , along with art primo and solid marker art primos are 4 bucks and solids are 5 , art primo streaks are bigger in size
Flame solid wax isn't waterproof, the point of paintstick is to last forever. This was a great list, also "Dope Slug" is useless. Graffiti companies dont care about graffiti, its just money to them. Dont trust anyone! Peace.
Yeah I feel you. I do find that a lot of the smaller companies that are run by graffiti writers tend to make the best stuff, like block by block or junobo or even artprimo. Just because someone doesn't shout to the world that they are breaking the law when there is lots of public information available about them, doesn't necessarily mean that they don't. If they did, it would just mean that they are smart enough to keep their mouth shut about it.
