- In this video we prospect and search for gold in the old tailrace of a lease recently acquired by my friend Ben called The Golden Spur Mining. We prospect and hope to find gold by digging out sections of the race below where a wash plant operated for many years. Ben used an excavator which made the gold prospecting so much easier. Warren and Colleen and I ran the highbanker. Along the way we see a wallaby, a goanna and several wild and crazy prospectors. Come for the adventure and stay for the most awesome giant gold nugget that a friend of Ben's showed us that he found recently in the area..."along the track". That narrows it down...lol.
