- Hello everyone! This week I sang Friends On The Other Side from Princess And The Frog!
Can you tell a bunch of This is another one of those redos that have been on the back burner for YEARS now but it’s finally done and my soul can rest easy. Princess And The Frog is such a fantastic movie (my favorite Disney movie to be clear). In 10th grade, I took a band trip to New Orleans and fell in love with the area. I remember getting sick off of all the beignets and hot chocolate we drank. It was a wonderful time and once the plague we’re currently facing comes to a halt, vaccines are available and we're given the all-clear to travel, I definitely plan on making my way back again.

I love how usually, female counterparts are dressed in sexualised outfits, but this is literally how Dr Facilier dressed and that’s amazing.
The dialogue fits so well with a female voice. Calling him "playboy", the sultry almost hypnotic pronunciation, it's perfect for the role of the Voodoo Queen.

I think one of the things that really draws me to her voice is the fact that she acts while singing.. it adds SO MUCH personality and makes the song so much more satisfying. It’s like she actually is the person singing it rather then just a cover. Absolutely love this one!!
