Been using the Teal and Gold versions of the clippers and trimmers for about 6 months now (Full set of each color). They are the only ones I use. Absolutely the best I have used this far and I have used everything. I just bought this set as well. I did throw a DLC 2.0 top blade I had sitting around onto one of the trimmers and it hits just a little harder. I tell every barber I know about this clipper and they don't get it. They hear the price and think there's no way these are that good. Their loss in my eyes. I will NEVER pay $200 for a clipper. They are all just Chinese clippers with fancy names and cases. I would love a way to set the trimmer gap though. Hopefully VGR and these other companies start doing that.
They'll last long, had me a surker clipper for 2 years, ran strong, from Amazon. Only thing going bad after 2 yrs was the power switch, but it was replaceable. Swapped the blade to stylecraft one and they were my best and fav budget
@scizzahands you can also swap out the trimmer blade with the jucai pro blades, you have to swap the cams and take off the spring and you get a closer smoother cut almost 0 gap
Mint reviews dude bort the first set of vrs cost me 60 in the UK. But like you said they are the dogs 🐕 dinner there that fast your cutting like a machine. Just watched this vid then ordered that combo but unfortunately cost me a 100 . But I hate the snag if fucks me up thanks again peace out keep them coming ❤
Awesome to hear your having the same experience man ..that’s a shame that you had to pay double for the set but I still believe at that price it’s worth it just finished 22 cuts today with them even put the Jurassic park logo on someone’s head with the trimmers. To be completely honest I have not touched the blade mine are hitting nice right out of the package I have not taken them off yet. So I’d say they are zero gapped or they wouldn’t be hitting so well
Hey bro I was researching all over the internet and i cannot find information "Why and How " to use 2 speed clipper or trimmer and what are the benefits of it would you explane Please to a new barber
I personally enjoy the the high speeds when cutting through bulk or thicker hair… I also find them helpful for those clients that get skin fades and come every week and their hair has barely grown back.. the slower speeds are basically the same speed most other clippers run at
Ok nice I’ll be on the look out also I seen some people had trouble with the lever . Seemed to have a lot of play/wiggle room is your fine ? I only seen it with the gold and black clipper tho .
Same for me since I had the 003 already but decided since it’s same price for the combo on AliExpress as it is for the 003 alone on amazon and all black which I love might as well have the matching set. Even on the back of the machine the trimmer and clipper say v640 so there is no model distinction between the two. I really like this trimmer small but powerful I hope 🤞🏼 it shows up for sale by itself.

I mean for 50 bucks and is better than most 200+ clippers is crazy and bro they sell some $3 type c charging stands on aliexpress that works for those

My trimmer is hitting nice.. I have an extra XO clipper blade I might throw on and try but I so surprised how well these machines work

A few people have asked me I didn’t have to..mine have been perfect out the box but I will have to check and see and get back to you on that.

Yes I use the gamma guards which I believe are the same as style craft… and the TPOB guards for the xo also work.
