Oh my gosh this fandom is winning!!! I can’t believe you fit ALL OF THE DEVIL’S PLAYHOUSE into 3 minutes?! I love your style, it’s very iconic with the hands! Such a great song choice for this idea and ah there are so many little details I am definitely going to be watching a few (or a lot...) more times. It’s epic dude!!!

wait wait wait wait!!! oh man i paid attention to the lyrics and there’s so much you did!! “i try to see the glass as half full” when sam and max are separated cause they’re one!!! firstly when max’s brain gets stolen, then when max dies, and the latter with a scream!!! wow. this just gets more and more amazing the more times i watch it! ohh man skunkape appearing with “an enemy”!!!! holy heck! there’s so much detail!! sams face at “broken-hearted”!!!
lining up lyrics was really fun, i'm so happy a lot of people picked up on them. i did change the timing on some scenes specifically to make some lyrics line up
some ones i don't think anyone found are "i kill two birds with one stone-r" i had skunkape and papierwaite in the shot, and one that is a lot harder to notice is "i'm going down and im taking you with me" is max and the statue head, before he transforms and destroys it.
I really like how you can actually read Max's lips near then end when. He's giving his goodbye it's a really nice touch also I love how many times the song and visuals match perfectly
The organ donor part matching with the brains swapping had been mentioned before though my favorite part is how well the anguished scream in the song fits with what is happening in the animatic.
This animation is amazing!! I loved the detail that Max's body is wearing Sam's coat during him bein Noir, Max havin heart eyes when he sees the Sam clones bc of how much he constantly says about them being after Max specifically, Sam having scars on his chest, and when monster Max gets stabbed Sam sees him in the normal vers and monster vers, keep it up Hallie 🤗💕💜💕💜💕

This is!?! AMAZING?!? I can't imagine the dedication and effort this took; it's incredible how you fit the entirety of The Devil's Playhouse into one animatic. Some of my favorite things, in no particular order ...
- The subtle difference between Max's eyes when the Pharoah is inside his body
- Max's fingernails!!!
- The amazing coloring on Max's eldritch form
- Sam's top scars and chubby belly ;u;
- The white outlines used during Max's physic battle and the way you drew the toybox shattering
- The scenes thrown in where you added extra frames (the flies around Max's head, Sam waving goodbye at the end, Charlie Hotep's eyes spinning to look at camera)
You have some extreme talent, my friend. The pacing and framing is far beyond even what i've seen some professional story-boarders do. Don't be afraid to include this in reels or portfolios in the future.

Seriously, this is AMAZING! You nailed the spirit of Sam & Max, and their 3rd season, even with just black-and-white sketches! I also thought giving Max giant hands was a neat touch. It fits in with the aesthetic of a grungy NYC style kinda well.
When I beat the last episode, and when Sam got to the park at the end of the credits, I was mentally panicking because _I thought he was gonna jump_

I genuinely can’t stop revisiting this- throughout pretty much my whole binge of season 2 through 3 when I’d take breaks I’d watch this and other similar Sam n Max videos and I’d say this one is my favorite of the animations. It only got more favorite after finishing the final episode and I teared up this time oh man this shit got me in the heart where it hurts and I got the song stuck in my head too,,, such a good combo :’) ow

At first I was distracted by max having fingernails, but by the end I was emotional. This is very well done and the song fits great

The animation is amazing and I’ve watched this loads, and every time I get emotional at the ending, the fact that they had saved max only for him to get shot with the bomb, not being able to bring him back, then to have that scene with Sam walking alone before gripping the wall and setting his hat down. God it’s so good and it hurts every time the symbolism of Sam putting his hat down in the game is what broke me, without Max there was no reason to continue freelance policing. I don’t know why I always get sad from this he just tried so hard to save Max and when he did save him he dies immediately it’s been so long since I played it

@@haydenthompson4115 At the end of the game, Max really DIES, Sam even ask If Max could be saved, but he could not. The Max inside of the elevator at the last scene is from another reality, the one that SAM got the psychic powers and died at the end(is not showed in that way but Max possibly felt so much pain with the loss of his friend that he immediately run to somewhere he was alive) so they just accept each other as their new Sam & Max(is sad as shit and always when I see that ending I feel a hole in my soul, is devastating)

Man, this Animation is just so freaking good. I love the attention to detail, and it knots the story well with the given time. I also love the tiny details, like how happy Sam was when it was the “supposed” end after the fight, the fact that you had Max had painted fingernails (idk but it makes me happy), and how you’re able to show how much the two really care for each other. Great job mate :)

Summary of Devil's Playhouse by someone who's never played or seen it and is going only by secondhand information.
-Evil puppet gives Max psychic powers
-Evil gorilla from space steals Max's brain. To sell on the black market, maybe?
-Time travel to ancient Egypt, which helps? Somehow?
-Evil pharaoh steals Max's body
-It's fine he gets put back together and people stop stealing bits of him
-Sam gets cloned I dunno how or why but I think it might have something to do with Santa
-At some point the giant cockroach fry cook dies of radiation poisoning but it's probably not plot important don't worry about where the radiation came from
