I bought that Vince Gill album (CD) some years ago, I love Vince's music, voice and guitar playing. But until today I'd never pay attention to that Bekka Bramlett voice. Her voice is so powerful, she's awesome. I'm sure she would deserve better recognition. This song is absolutely great, one of the best you played lately. Thank you Lee. Greetings from Portugal.

Just listened to a "clean" version of this song - it's outstanding! Great song, great performance by all on the session. And love Ms. Bramletts vocals. Sounds a lot like her Mom. Always loved Delany and Bonnie back in the day. When I attended Leon Russell's funeral a few years ago, Bonnie was there and sang his iconic "A Song for You." A very sad occasion, but such an outstanding, uplifting performance.

Great bass Lee. I love watching the choices you make that I would not think of. Some have said here that Vince is underrated. I don’t think Vince Gill is underrated. Certainly guitar players understand how brilliant he is and have for a long time. And that voice. Just wow. And from afar he seems like great guy just like Lee.
Back in the early 90's I used to think that Vince Gill was just a pretty-boy that the ladies liked, but have learned that I was way the hell off on that. He is one of the most all-around talented songwriters, vocalists and performers of the past 30 years and also one damn funny individual. If you have ever heard him play live, you'll know what I mean ;-)

yeah this is one of my favorite cuts from Vinny right here..High lonesome sound such a great album the beautiful pretty little Adriana and of course this cut here I love the blues when Vince gets outside of the genre and shows what a great guitarist he is especially when it comes to good blues rock and why he fit into the Eagles under sad circumstances.... glad you pulled this one out such a cool tune... I still pop the high lonesome sound CD in and truck on across North America to it for years 25 now actually still one of my favorites and just music in general of albums.
