Sekita is the brain of the Japanese Team. Currently, I think Sekita, Russia's Grankin, Brazil's Bruno and US' Christenson are the best setters. They will go into volleyball history as some of the best setters ever!
If you think about Sekita is a lot more of a little giant than others on the Japan team like nishida cause he’s way way shorter standing at 5’9 and he’s blocking world class spikers even tho he can’t reach that high, I’ve seen a lot of his blocks and it really surprises me to see him able to block like that
He’s good but they don’t have connection with Takahashi, Fuji have good connection with him. I remember the setter #7 in Higashiyama (teammate of Ran in highschool) he’s really excellent setter.

The Japanese men's and women's team always change their hairstyle before competing in a certain league. It's one of their tactics to confuse their opponents. the women's team also mixes up its jersey numbers for the same reason

Sekita is playing as Setter in Poland’s SuperLiga. Not a lot of setters are chosen as imports. It’s a testament of how good his setting skills is.
