i think they are going with the "core" thing for demons. you have to destroy the core to kill a demon. also i think they are hinting that bubi put some sort of spell on the forest that only people that look like him can enter. if you noticed all the helmets and only one entered at a time. this isnt explained but it can be assumed. oh and the person that did the combat is the person that took over for monty on RWBY. im glad he is still able to get work.
I’d say the animation is more related to RWBY than Fire Emblem Three Houses. Truth be told I’ve never played the video game 🎮, and only seen a handful of video clips concerning RWBY (mostly the Latest Season). That’s my honest opinion. The artist is listed in the credits and I believe they have their own TH-cam channel as well.
