WAPISHIANA DIALECT PROGRAMME EXPANDING TO DEEP RUPUNUNI

Some 14 additional nursery schools of the Deep South Rupununi in Region Nine will soon be introduced to the Quality Bilingual Education Programme for Wapichan Children. This expansion is currently in the assessment phase, Deputy Chief Education Officer (DCEO) Marti De Souza told the News Room during a telephone interview on Monday.
