so how lucky do you need to be in order to do 1st turn ptolemaeus turn skip? I'm kinda interested in trying this deck out but I wanna know what I'm getting into considering there seems to be a lotta URs in this archetype
Fortune Lady Deep Draw has joined the ranks of such strats as "isolde send 4" and halqdon As "Decks that will show up until the heat death of the universe cuz they let you do Anything in the game" This one was real creative, though. I couldn't breathe after the Oohime
Just from messing around, I found that Inzektor Snake-eye goes kind of hard. Emphasis on the kind of. You get to swarm the field with monsters, triggering the inzektors over and over again with the snake-eye monsters and Diabellstar, and then not actually accomplish that much because it's inzektors. I do intent to go back to that strategy and attempt to find an end board worth making. I can only really say that I don't know what I'm doing, but whatever it is, it's pretty fucking cool.
Messed around with zektors + diabellstar + infernoble(durendal+oliver) for a bit in the lab and it can end on (Baronne or Borrelsavage), 3-mat Apollousa, Cicada king, and Invincible Atlas pretty consistently; but it has some of the most headache-inducing and painfully non-obvious combo lines i've ever had the displeasure to play through. Sick find tho! @@NoxiousAffection the main deck is more or less the same as you, the main difference being 2 Almace, 2 durendal, and then no copies of S:P or wanted. Definitely doesn't have time do with the price of those. Other than that I used the Armor Xyz engine for the non-targing honor ark, using Dark knight Lancer. I was also on Infernoble Knight Roland since he acts like an additional equip spell you can add off of durendal, also potentially being useful for triggering the Dark knight lancer, but I haven't had that come up yet. Lastly, I was on Flamberg, but that's still debatable. In theory you can use it's effect to place something with power on summon effect, then bring it out during your opponent's turn, but I haven't found anything specific yet, so playing it is probably a no at the moment.
ngl this WInd-Up deck was the most based burn deck I had the pleasure to watch in a while. Certainly not just saying this, since I'm biased towards Charmers and always love seeing some of their cards used. Thanks to Xerox for posting their L.

Hold up, I just pulled a blaze fenix out of the legacy pack the other day and I grabbed a zenmaintenance yesterday from a secret pack, could I actually make that wind-up deck?
Ngl, that Hiita Blaze Phoenix deck looks pretty sweet. I'm curious what the game plan is without an opponents monster. I can see a consistent 3600-4800 from Phoenix but then you'd have to make another 3200 at least. Spiritual Fire Art and a link 4 caps at 2800. Hmm...
They're not locked into Wind-Ups right? at the end they had three level 4s they could have made a Gagaga Cowboy for that last bit of damage before Kurenai's burn damage on the next turn.

They probably go dugares instead and reborn the fenix after linking it off for another activation. 7 zones occupied (6 monsters plus the trap) for 21 burn on the first 2 activations plus 18 on the third plus 28 when you tribute it with the trap is 8800

Just to play Devil's Advocate, Drident is not a HARD once per turn so a deck that has the space to run 2-3 of it could be potentially annoying, and both Tear and Kashtira have been mid since the last banlist that hit their cards. Also the pity scoop after they banished their entire hand to hit ONE thing on an overstuffed board was hilarious.
If anyone is wondering, yes, it took about 20ish attempt (half of them are my opponent scooping before I finish the combo)
Obviously, no one wants to waste time watching a combo that isn't even the most original. I want to do my missions and close the game lol
