Honest thoughts... Should we do more goofy intros? This one was fun, and I'll do them more often if yall aren't too annoyed at a longer intro 😂
100% yes
Obviously bring more of the goof
Definitely!
ummm yes... more goofy videos means more videos :)
I love it. Specifically if it fits to the game/games you are covering!
This game is so, so good!! We are tearing through it and excited to start our next characters and go on our next adventure. This is how campaign games should feel
I appreciate that the lockpicking is so much better in Elder Scrolls than it is in Too Many Bones.
The goofier the intro, the better IMO!
I am so, so excited for this game! Can't wait to get it!
YES! We hope you enjoy it! I’d be surprised if you didn’t!
@Tablenauts me too. It sounds like the game for me.
The excitement when you all were talking about how it all came together with learning your character and their strengths and slowly learning what your friends capabilities are as well was infectious. I’m excited for this game but the time commitment part is what gives me some pause just because this seems like a game that will be best with multiple players and this is not a game that I think it’ll be easy to get my wife to commit to
fun conversation, thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! We had a blast!
Great coverage! My copy is sitting nearby taunting me because I simply have too much going on to get it to the table right now. Excited to play as soon as possible!
The anticipation! Hope you love it!
Glad y’all liked the game! What characters + classes did y’all play as?
I (Doolin) played a Redguard Dragonknight with a heavy influence on the Two Handed and Heavy Armor skills. I will need the other 2 to come and comment theirs, but what is crazy is I'm convinced you could choose my exact class/race combo and come out looking/playing completely different!
I love this game so much, I constantly think about it and my wife and I have played almost 3 full sessions since we got it a week or so ago.
That’s amazing!
How would you compare this to Arydia? I’m trying to pick one out of the two buy. 😂
Unfortunately we have not played Arydia, so we can’t give a fair comparison! I’ve heard it’s good though!
Moving chips around is not fun at all
Interesting to see that the time commitment is still a negative. This is my main issue with all campaign game... Needing to invest 50-100 hours in a campaign game is just impossible. We need variety... Couldn't even get through gloomhaven jaws of the lion. After a while we need to play something else and it seems daunting to go back to a campaign game. This being 3 session and ''done'' seems more manageable or at least less daunting to jump back into it after all while starting from scratch?
I'm with you, I can commit to an 8 sesh Arkham horror campaign, I think I can manage 3-4 sesh elder scrolls.
I can't commit to 50+h of gloomhaven
This is true!! I think Max was commenting on just the time commitment of multiple sessions with the same crew. Some gamers may get this game and not have that ability.
That being said, I like the short campaign nature of it! It’s definitely easier to complete than most campaigns
Thanks. Looks great but I think CTG needs a new artist or style.
Fair enough! I like this art over TMB, but it is very similar to Hoplomachus art.
Best things about too many bones? I though it was Elder Scrolls review ...
LOL! As the editor of the video, I actually cut a bit more of Too Many Bones comparisons, but to be fair, it is hard to not compare this game to Chip Theory's best selling game.
Thx for sharing! Only issue was the rating of 4 or 4,25 out of 5 for a game he repeatedly said he “loved”. Again, thx for sharing!
I think loving something and acknowledging it has faults aren’t at odds with one another. I love lots of things I don’t consider perfect.
Thanks for watching!
