Sangean WR-7 Cherry / Portable FM & Bluetooth Radio with built in battery

This charming little radio needs a little more attention in my opinion. By spreading DAB+ all over europe the days of FM Radio are numbered. So it´s good to have some oldfashioned retro FM radio. Weighing around 400 gramms and equipped with a bass-radiatior it is a quite powerful and portable little radio. The battery life is also very good with over 30 hours (2600mAh). Just three knobs and a nicely illuminated dial, thats all what you need.

I love mine....amazing sound and in dim room the lit dial is great. Only issue for me is the tiny dials....hard to deal with

Wish I could find one with those metallic knobs. The only model I see on Amazon have the tan plastic knobs.

Is the WR7 built from solid wood or mdf? There is real wood veneer for sure, but wondering what's below the veneer. Any idea?
