I love to use the automation for the H-comp. I use the H-comp for the vocal so the vocal is bouncing with the beat (something i learned from Devvon). So its have a fast attack and 2-3 db compression and I will automate the release time. Fast flow means often fast release, slow flow means often slow release. H-Comp is great for that, cuz just like the H-Delay you can put in the BPM and it will do the math for you and change the release settings from milliseconds to 1/4 bar, 1/8 bar and so on. And its so ez to use the automation with it, I just love it.
