I wish all water filling machines could be programmed to fill certain volume
It looks very convenient
You could add manual mode buttons when there are no warnings when you want to fill something other than a bottle or to fill an unusual volume.

This is a pretty neat little bottle filling machine, but I'm curious. I know it'll give you a warning if you try to fill a bottle again without replacing the bottle, but I would like to know if you could accidentally overfill a bottle of the wrong size? Would this little bottle filler be able to prevent that? Or are you just out of luck and have to clean the mess for your mistake? haha

nah i dont think so. it seems there is no part of the system to check the bottle size. it just know if there is a bottle or not. i mean, i think it is possible to make it to check the bottle size by putting another infrared sensor on the bottom of the bottle foot, facing up. so if it recognize there is an object above it a bit further, there might be a small bottle. if it close, then it might be a big bottle, etc.

many people theys are asking how he has mesure the level of bootle, but is easy he put the delay which is neccessary to full up the bottle, for exemole to the bootle of 500cl, he put for exemple 200micros second to full it up.

el sensor no lo usa para el nivel de liquido en la botella, es para que el mecanismo sepa que hay una botella lista para ser llenada y luego no deja activar de nuevo hasta que se retire la botella llena y se cambie por otra.

For what I understood, the water pump fills the same ammount of mililiter in a given time,so I suppose he must measure how much time the machine must stay on(example: the pump fills 100 ml in 5 seconds, so he must turn on the pump, the arduino count 25 seconds to fill 500ml and then turn off).
my calculations are just an example,and if he does like this, he must measure how much tube he is using and adjust the time based on the lenght of it , because the tube carry the liquid and have an inside volume.
