Thank God I have been in the US for 57 years and God willing I will be back in Jamaica enjoying all that God allows me to. I am heading to Portland as well. Jesus is coming back and I hope if I am still alive when Jesus returns I will be in Portland, Jamaica. Blessings!

I've been living in the US for 55 years & because of my health situation i'm still living in the US..I am about to have another bi-pass & hopefully i will be able to make the move back to St Ann after my upcoming surgery!

I want to say welcome home, but with your health concerns, I would be cautious. The hospital service is not in good shape, and I wouldn't want you to come and have to worry. We do have private doctors who are quite reasonable. However, the private hospital in Montego Bay is quite expensive.
Do your homework and check out things before pulling up stumps. I always say that we need to come home when we have decent health. Jamaica will make you even better, but if you wait too long and come with poor health, it can be challenging. Best of luck😊

I love Portland that's where I born and grow and I miss home alot every day and wanted to come back home to build and give back to my community Long road that is no weh no better than yard no matter how much negativity that surface about Jamaica it's still home to me and Jamaica is beautiful

You would a frightening to see how i transformed the place.
I wouldn't remove too much of the flora, because they add a tropical vybe to the environment, but i would incorporate raised beds and plant vegetables instead of cutting down all the wild coco and ferns. I would also plant a lot of fruit trees on the hill sides.
I could easily make that place a home, i love it.
