Never knew Jim from the office could give such concise helpful Capcut PC tips in 5 minutes, this video is a gem thank you so much!
hahaha love this! happy to help Seth!
This was WILDLY helpful; thank you!
So glad you found it helpful! It makes a big difference!
Very useful. The select right and left is a gem. I spent ages trying to work out how to delete gaps in my timeline. A 'delete gaps' command would be handy. Worth noting that any other tracks may need to be locked while doing this.
That is true! Locking tracks is a good idea!
I just wanted to say I found this immensely helpful. Thank you so much!!
I appreciate you taking the time to leave such a nice comment! Happy it helped you out :)
Very useful and concise video! I was able to watch and change the shortcut keyboard along while watching your video. I probably need to custom it further according to my own future work flow and habits, but your video gave a solid knowledges on what to do with the shortcuts to make editing on CapCut faster. Thank you from take it all the time and energy to making such a great video for us! I’m really appreciate your hard work!
So happy to help!
thanks! this help a whole lot.
Cheers buddy - very helpful
Thanks for watching
good stuff 💯💯💯
Appreciate you man! Thanks for watching
I gave you a sub because it a good video with good sound and explanation.
I appreciate it! You’re a legend
Thanks for this really helpful video. I do have a question though. Is there a way to follow the play head as it moves off the screen to the right? I find that I am sometimes "chasing" after the playhead as it moves along. Is there a way to move the visible screen along with the playhead? Thanks.
Thanks man!. do you know of a way to navigate along the time line without clicking and dragging the bottom bar?
On other video editors and daws users can for instance press ctrl alt and click anywhere on the timeline to navigate along, it makes editing so much quicker!
Oh man I’ve looked that up a few times and as of now it looks like Capcut does have a way to do this! So frustrating 😡 I know Premiere Pro has a feature like that and it’s so nice
I am not quite sure if this is what you want but, if you press the S key you will turn on the preview axis which helps you to navigate along the timeline. (hope it helps)
@@ArtofAd Oh yes, you make a great point. If you want to scrub the timeline without having to move the playhead, this is the way to do it! I have created a video on the preview axis you can check out if you want for more about it. This is the best solution for now!
I had a problem where i had a lot of audio above my video timeline. When I ramped up some clips, all of the audio was misplaced and I had to redo all of my work again to time the audio clips correct. Can you please show how to avoid this in a video? You got my sub.
thank you so much!
No problem! Thank you for watching :)
Thank you for your content, this is very helpful and concise. Do you know if capcut allows to change the playback speed? That would be very helpful when editing so I save some time reviewing my clips.
Doesn't look like that is a option currently :( They should add that though.
Hi! Thanks a lot for your tutorial! Do you have a suggestion for my question? I want to select some clips of different time duration (say 10 clips or maybe all) on the timeline and then set the selected clips to one time duration, say 4 seconds)?
I know what you are trying to do, I’ve tried too! And unfortunately you can’t do this as you described. It needs to be a feature though because it would be an awesome 😎
Thank You
Thank YOU for watching!
what is the T trim shortcut of final cut on cup cut i want to slide inside the clips for select another part
Thank you
You're welcome
Currently switching over from Premier to Capcut and having a little trouble. One thing I'm having an issue with is selecting a clip by simply jumping to the start of it. For example when I create a split on the timeline and want to delete one of them I will hit the arrow key (up or down depending) and it'll take me to the start of the clip I want to delete, however it is not automatically selected. How would I go about changing that setting?
for reference on Premier I cut clips by selecting c for cut, then arrow to take me to the clip I want deleted, then I hit r to ripple delete. I never have to use my mouse.
I’ll need to look into the solution for your first question, but Capcut does have their own version of ripple delete. I made a video on that, be sure to check it out!
Is there a short cut to add a keyframe? Thanks!
I wish! they haven't added this feature yet
After I bring a video down the play button doesn't work at times seems like everything freezes then I can't do nothing and I just waste time! What is your solution to lagging especially on Mac desktop I use that because my eyes are not so good.
Bro make another video on advance shortcut keyboard
It doesnt really get much more advanced. CapCut prides itself on being simple to use for those new to video editing
What are the typical jkl functions called in capcut to map that? how about insert into timeline? i did not find these.
I’ve customized mine so much I don’t know what the original shortcuts were. But if you go to shortcuts you can reset yours and see what they were. From there you can map it however you like!
@@shanehubbardcreator did not see add to timeline in shortcuts option
@@nyambeyeah I don’t either, it might not be a shortcut you can add
I've been looking for this as well. We need the JKL functions in CapCut for sure! -for those who don't know, it's to play, pause, and rewind while navigating on the timeline, but the reason it works so well in Final cut is because when you press "J" or "L" twice, the curser will show double speed with sound (backwards or forwards). And if you press again, it will go 4X faster, so it's really handy to navigate in the video one is editing... CapCut needs this.
Hi mate. I'm thinking of using this instead of divinci resolve
They both have their uses. I wouldn’t give up on resolve
