My name is Abdur Rehman. Here is the first part in which we're going toward Toabat from Kel Neelum valley. After Covering 39 to 40 km Off-Road we finally reached Taobat Kashmir. The road trip journey towards Taobat is more beautiful than the destination. And You can cover it on a 70cc bike also.
Toabat Neelum Valley is a hidden gem located in the breathtaking region of Kashmir. This remote valley is known for its stunning natural beauty, crystal-clear streams, and lush green forests. Taobat is a village in Sharda Tehsil in Neelam Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is located 200 kilometers (120 mi) from Muzaffarabad and 39 kilometers (24 mi) from Kel. It is the last station in Neelam valley. It is also the nearest location from where Neelam River enters Pakistani territory and becomes River Neelum. In 1998 it had a population of 720. Taobat is one of the finest tourist spots in Pakistan. Taobat is one of the most loved and visited places from the tourist’s aspect because of its adventurous trekking and amazing tracks. The natural beauty of Azad Kashmir is now a treat for all the foreigners as the Government of Pakistan has eradicated NOC for the tourism of these beautiful places for the foreigners. The beauty of Taobat is enigmatic. The lush green trees and mountains around are full of energy and beauty. The last station of Neelum Valley is Taobat and the endpoint of Pak beauty in Kashmir. It has a severe season and heavy snow in winter, and the winter season continues for about 6 months starting from October to April end. The Neelam River enters Azad Kashmir's premises flowing down through Taobat. It’s the first place where we can find population while descending down the Neelam Valley along the beautiful Neelam River.
About Neelum Valley:
Neelum District (also spelled as Neelam; Urdu: ضلع نیلم‎), is the northernmost district of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. Taking up the larger part of the Neelam Valley, the district has a population of 191,000 (as of 2017). It was badly affected by the 2005 Kashmir earthquake.
The Neelum River was known before Partition as Kishan Ganga and was subsequently renamed after the village of Neelam. It flows down from the Gurez Valley in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and roughly follows first a western and then a south-western course until it joins the Jhelum River at Muzaffarabad. The valley is a thickly wooded region with an elevation ranging between 4,000 feet (1,200 m) and 7,500 feet (2,300 m), the mountain peaks on either side reaching 17,000 feet (5,200 m).[5] Neelum Valley is 144 kilometers (89 mi) long.
