Yes bro 100% same for me too in blackburn lancashire police just drive past me too. I drive fast and where a helmet i would never wear one of them ninja masks i wear the full protective gear too better to be safe than sorry
Same with me. In 2 years they never tried to stop me, I'm seeing them daily. Also living in Manchester. Just follow the rules, don't be reckless and you're good to go.
Police in my area don't give a 💩 about electric scooter unless like you said don't ride a crazy man they won't bother

Ive kinda held back from saying this but it has to be said. I was young once, we used to ride mopeds and crossers about unlicensed. Once me and a mate rode a moped many miles down the canal encountering people and stopping and no one was bothered. I get it, motorcycles are a buzz. The problem is that accidents DO happen. The main reason for insurance is because accidents happen, they sometimes are not avoidable and there needs to be a way to try to compensate everyone involved. You cant turn back time once an accident happens. You are running the risk that if a pedestrian steps out in front of you and you cause them fatal injuries, even if its not your fault, facing charges for causing death by dangerous driving. Fir this would inevitably mean prison. Another possibility, another driver causes you to crash again not your fault, but because youre on an unlicensed, unregistered vehicle you will come off worse, physically and legally. You have not been trained to ride a motorcycle safely, you ride all over the road cutting in and out. I do not want to be 'that guy' telling you the obvious but you need to hear it. Please consider getting a full motorcycle license before something goes wrong, and continue to drive safely for ever afterwards. I can see your enthusiasm for motorcycles, but you are going about it the wrong way. I do not mean to offend you or be condescending but everything ive said is true and you should not decieve yourself as to the dangerous nature of what youre doing, both to yourself and others. I genuinely wish you all the best and hope you consider what im suggesting. Stay safe m8. Peace out.😎👍
Wise words sir; the only thing you did not taking into account is that there is no standarised legal way to get insurance for the amazing E-scooter, therefore your wise words don't help in this particular scenario. Furthermore, there is no such thing as an " E-Scooter Driving Licence ". Where did you buy your scooter, what's the name of it and what's it's top speed? I've got an ebike that does 30mph and I find anything faster would be well sketchy so couldn't imagine going faster than that on a scooter!?
these scooter guys are crazy, my diy ebike does 40 and i definitely would not want to do that on a tiny scooter.

the problems will start when you have an accident, you don't have any insurance, you drive a fast illegal vehicle and you will probably run away from the scene of the accident without taking any responsibility. That's the problem

Do you think any of the Deliveroo / Uber riders have business insurance for work purposes riding a stolen push iron around on the road just the same. You can allow for children to ride their little bicycles on the roads in and around traffic, but moan at adults on a scooter? 😂 👍🏼🐓
