Great video Phil, I’ve shot that match the last 2 years and never thought of tripod rear on that stage. Both years I triple pulled off the front and used a bag on the peak of the log for a rear rest. It worked well both years but it takes a minute to get it set up properly. Tripod rear seems way faster.
@@velayo_0317 dunno if you got the prior commentary. First I thought this was a two for Tuesday on a whiteboard Wednesday. Then got confused. Good stuff!!
Phil! I love ya, but it's BIPOD not BIPODS! When you deploy a single tripod do you deploy your "tripods"? No, because the "tri" in tripod denotes a three legged pod. Bi=two legged pod. So it's not plural when you're talking about the one bipod on your gun. Not a big deal until you hear it said wrong 30k times on your otherwise excellent content. ;)
It’s a thing with the PRS crowd. I’m not sure why, but they all say it. Always struck me odd, but it’s cultural norm for some reason. Kinda like how only hunters will say “front shoulder” when discussing shot placement. As though they feel the need to clarify that they aren’t shooting the back shoulder of a deer/elk. Cracks me up.
@@rubenrodriguez7266, interesting take. I shoot local PRS and am pretty tied into the NRL Hunter crowd and shooting industry and usually only hear this from a few people, mainly MDS and Phil. It's definately not the norm and I would make fun of a buddy for saying it, lol.
Sweet video! My buddy and I took 3rd in teams at this match this year. Thanks for being an RO!
I love watching these stage break-downs. The NRL Hunter match looks like fun.
Looking forward to NRL 2025! White Board Wednesday has great value! Many Thanks...

Always learn from you. Thanks for sharing.
Great video man
Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, I like to actually see the shooting stages and then the analysis. It suits my learning style.
White board Wednesday with phil are now my favorite day of the week. Also where did you get your hoodie from? Thanks.
@@steverice1756 thanks brother. It’s a Short Action Customs Hoodie. Let them know I sent you lol
@velayo_0317 thanks keep up the good work
@8:52 a real deer can be seen in the top right of the scope camera frame lol
Phil what powder are you using to get that speed from 6.5x47? Couldn’t find a reloading video where you mention it
@@Nick_MaxO Varget. 36.4 grains with a 24” barrel.
Does your terrapin x send the range, DOF, and inclination to you foretrex 901 or just the range?
Just the range unfortunately. It was actually something I pointed out to the software team. I’m curious to see if it’s fixed with the Vectronix.
Is this a repost?
@@JamesJohnson-if8rz it is.
There was a title error in the first video so I corrected it
