Oh, that pen would be invaluable, while I am waiting for Departure Clearance! I usually abuse my actual pen, which I use to copy down my clearance on my notebook. Now I can harass the virtual one :D Thanks for the great video!
Finally, someone posted how to get the extra engine info. Ive only seen a handful of streamers have that display and always thought i had a busted plane.
The blinds greatly help with the instrument readout visibility in direct sunshine. It makes them look less washed out. Thanks for the engine display tip. I was always wondering about that one.
Like the pmdg 737 where you can customize the whole cockpit with stuff like new or old designs of these things or add a HUD, or even changing the color of systems. Can you do that with the 777?
@@b788_ only FedEx uses a hud in the 777. Maybe/Hopefully it is included in the 777f later, but I suspect it won't be as it is a pretty uncommon option.
@@henriklmao i bet it will be added just because PMDG added a short performance pack with only one airline having it which is GOL so maybe they might have it
@@baptistecbn3049 Not sure if this will work for you but did you press 'accept' in the FMC on the performance init page? Below where you insert your cost index and cruising altitude there should be a prompt to accept these values and VNAV has to know your cruising altitude to work. I have a feeling this could be what's causing it because this caught me off guard too during my first flight in the 777. Let me know if this helps or not
@@baptistecbn3049 it should be one of the buttons right next to the screen, not the exec button. If I remember correctly it should be the 4th one from top to bottom on the right side. Once you press on it when it says 'Accept' the cruise C.G. should then appear and below that it should say RVSM
Cool video! Mag ik vragen wat je PC specs zijn? Ik heb een 7950 x3D AMD cpu and 4070, 12gb but with the PMDG 777 at dubai, my performance tanks super bad. Thanks in advance bud.
@@pierrewanga9402 I got an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 4070 graphics card and 32 GB of ram. It's not really visible in the video but I don't get such great performance at Dubai either. The outside views are okay but panning around in the cockpit has lots of microstutters. I think the Inibuilds scenery might not be optimized well enough currently. Hopefully this will improve with future updates.

No wonder that aircraft was delayed by four years after the initial release of FS2020
Hahaha the pen was my first click in the flightdeck :P
OMG.....Pressing the 777 logo for the EFB.... amazing. Thanks.

Fun fact: if you click the pen on the 777 flightdeck, a very well-hidden bell dings in Robert Randazzo's office. Try it.

Thanks! Really useful

I had found them all, except the engine display one. The thing has so many MFD’s I never thought about trying it. Great video.
it’s not just a PMDG easter egg, the real aircraft also does it. It’s SOP in my company to display the secondary engine indications during cruise.
Its "eye"cas... good video though 👌
Learned new things! Appreciated! 😊
Very helpful video! Thanks a lot!

@@b788_ Yes you can, with the exception of the HUD. The 777 comes with a lot of the same settings as the 737.

Any idea why my pmdg 777 does not climb ? Vnav does not works…
