- I've made a Relativty addon for my DiY AR Headset Penelope Zero.

I don't own any Relativty code. I'm not involved with Relativty development.

This is very cool! I really like it has that pass through transparency
This is freaking cool. I'll look forward to seeing the final result!
Thanks!
@@ManolloMancelli pls send files
that’s literally what I intended to create… and now I see this video.
Hey, loved it!
So is this the same relativity headset but you added this as extra? Or what was the purpose of adding those two pieces?
Ty!
Tutorial next? Great work!
Amazing project!
What screen do you use and how do i connect it?
Looking interesting, man
OMG! It's amazing!
what screen did you use and where can i get it?
Wow. What screens do you use? This is just awesome!
Waveshare 5” display with HDMI. You can use any other one though
Hello! I'm just wondering how you got steam vr to recognise it as a vr headset, I'm planning to do something similar but use a vive tracker for 6 DOF
Hi! I’ve uploaded custom code to the Arduino board
@@ManolloMancelli is the code from Relativty?
I wanna make these I just need to know those lens names so I can make one.
This guy became an engineer
Im looking for AR tech that would possibly work in accordance with an image recognition software Im designing, the general idea is its a raspberry pi that sits on your arm with cameras to regonize what it’s looking at that then feeds that information to the AR headset and projects it, would this type of system work with that?
It’s basically a simple AR display. As long as you can make what you described, it will work.
Awesome! How can i do this using my mad gaze glow plus?
No idea. Would love to figure it out but can’t afford to buy them right now
Hi im interesed to make but is work to put in vrbox headset and can tell me like intruction how to make.😮
I’m working on a new version. There will be a video for that
Why do you use the arduino due? only because of the usb port it brings? I could do it with an arduino UNO?
It has to be Due. Uno is not compatible
Uno's processor is not so much strong
Which board can we use other than Arduino due ❓❓ for smaller size ?
Arduino Pro Micro or Leonardo might work
can we use Mega or UNO or only avr supported arduinos ?
@@ManolloMancelli can teensy , because it's processor is stronger
@Mañolo can u send us picture of front heatseat while in steam vr
How did you make the lenses?
Those are off the shelf
are you compensating for distortion ?
Yes
How do those lenses work when the screen is not reversed? I can't seem to find any app that does that.
Ultramon on Windows reverses the image and you can do it on Linux and Mac natively as well
Do you have instructions on how to do it? And if so, can it work on Trinus Cardboard or Chrome remote desktop?
I don't know too much about this kind of stuff and seems difficult to do.
I do use a gaming desktop and enjoy tinkering and projects.
Ultramon doesn't work on Windows 11
Does the Relativty Driver still work?
It should still work
So how much did it cost you all together?
About 80$. Can’t remember for sure
Can i use arduino Mega?
It won’t work with Mega
how do you put it on
It goes on top of your head (the big one)
top
Why did you used the Arduino due for the gyro or for the screen or both, because how does the screen splits
The Arduino Due is only there to read the Gyro and send it over to SteamVR as Rotation data. The Relativity Driver tells SteamVR to use the Newly connected Screen as a VR Headset Screens (SteamVR does the Screen Splitting). The error that showed up on 2:08 is there to get permission so that SteamVR driver to use the Monitor Drivers permission and Signals to better use the Screen, Plus it changes it's properties of the VR Screen from a "Monitor" (one that is used to display the desktop) to a "VR-Headset" (only show the Game Display).
@@lunarz7117 thanks now I understand it . Can you give me a tutorial for it
@@01.akshityadav15 there's no tutorial for it. I just did a lot of research on it...
@@lunarz7117 no I mean can you give me a tutorial for how to use relativity driver.
Yo can u send us new 3d print files
How does the screen is splitting through Arduino or any other thing
What song is this?
Dude what is this lenses
You can buy those on AliExpress. Look for AR goggles
Pls give a tutorial for making this type of VR plsssssssssssssssssssssss sir please
.
Is taking companies like Meta and Steam themselves so long to make a paper thin headset when you did it DIY by yourself in eight minutes
