i wish trackman and other LM would get away from pos vs neg numbers and use Draw vs fade and in or out etc..

Just getting into these numbers now in my golf journey...and smash factor seems to simply be ball speed/club head speed...is the correct?

Yes. Hit the sweet spot and it improves, hit more efficiently ad it increases. More optimal attack angle might help too.
