We asked our Mexican moms if they can tell the difference between Mexican and American versions of the same soda! Mexico and America share a lot of the same beverages, like Coca-Cola and Sprite - but do they taste the exact same? We had the mamás the Mexican and American versions of Coca-cola, Sprite, 7 Up, Crush, Fanta... and even Jarritos 😉 Will the moms be able to tell the difference? Watch and find out!

One of the many things I love about this channel is how it’s helping me with Spanish. Refreshing some of what I’ve learned in the past and teaching me new words/phrases.

Trying the same sodas from different countries are really fun given the uniqueness of the sodas in those countries! I heard in some countries, they have a clear transparent Coca-Cola! Great video MaMah as always! 😄😄

1. Jupiña (Cuba)
2. Malta (Venezuela)
3. Colashampan (El Salvador)
4. Inca Kola (Peru)
5. Colombiana (Country is obvious).
6. Frescolita (Venezuela).

Read the ingredients !, I recently went to the local Mexican market and found that the Jarritos brand of soda pop is made with either beet sugar or sugar cane, and the soda in the other stores are made with refined sugar and have high fructose corn syrup added in as well !!, too sweet !, the Mexican made soda is not as sweet, but the cane/beet sugar (sugar beets) is better for you, plus more fruit flavors are added to the soda !!

I'm sorry, but I feel like it needs to be said..
Whoever is doing the translation/subtitles tend to get some words or phrases incorrect. Causing it to not be understood the way it should be for those who don't know Spanish.
It's overall correct but the slight words or phrases can be misleading if not translated correctly.
For example, here Martha, @ 2:42 The translation said "see how badass I am at guessing now?"
In reality she said "see how badass I am at getting them right today?"
For those viewing and don't know Spanish would say she's guessing. But in reality she knows her stuff.. you know what I mean? Just something to think about Mamah!

I tried “Mexican coke” for the first time at a local restaurant. Everyone told me it was “SO much better!” Because of the cane sugar. I was disappointed, unless you have them side by side, you really can’t taste a difference (or at least I can’t lol) but when they did the throwback pepsi products it was INSTANT childhood memories (throwbacks have came sugar too & beet sugar instead of the usual fructose corn syrup) So it’s weird I can taste the difference with THOSE but not Coke, when it’s the same difference lol Guess it’s what you’re used to?
