So I have a 04 Yamaha grizzly and when I put black lead on negative and check to see if it stops current I get same reading .5 volts? Is my rectifier bad?
Good evening, I got a 1980 Suzuki Gs 750 L, first voltage test was 12.57- started and it was 12.43, turn light on bright and it stayed at 12.12 to 12.14, not lower or higher, hope you can give me your thoughts, thank you for your time.
Yeah and the same problem with my grizzly 660 2002 running then check if light were working 2 minute after that shot down no more contact

More than likely it's the voltage regulator because it should charge no less than 13.5 - 14.5 volts .
I have a 2006 Yamaha rhino 660. With it idling, I’m only getting 4.7 volts on the output side. Regulator?
