This is beautiful. It sounds a lot like my OC, Rosemary Eastwood, singing to her family and friends. She's got a great family who adopted her and a little sister who's adorable. She's got two guy best friends, one whom she has a crush on. Then she finds a girl who likes her other best friend and finds out this girl is her real older sister. Then war breaks out. Her real family is on one side, while the family she's always known and her friends are on the other. Her adopted mother gets killed in front of her own eyes, and to save everyone else she cares about, Rosemary might have to die. It takes place in an ancient, magical kingdom, FYI. Just so it makes a bit more sense. And I just thought that this song described her story perfectly, though not talking to just one person but everyone in her life. Sorry if you thought this comment was stupid, pointless, and too long.

She had a curse similar to him, every Branwen with a scythe had a trace of her soul in their weapon. The rest is in Ozpin's cane, but he has no idea. (End of spoilers) Shes also known as the Grimm Reaper, cause scythe.

I think this might be one of my favorite songs. it brings back good and bad memories of an ex. who was taking from this world way to soon. we both fell apart physically and emotionally with in the relationehip and song was basically every thing I thought by the end of the relationship.

I've got a Kaotica Eyeball on that, which a lot of people rightfully criticise but it works in my situation, which is recording in my bedroom. My mic is hooked up to a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface and I use KRK Rokit 5s as speakers. On the software side I use Cubase on a recently upgraded Windows 10 machine. You can take your pick of any of the major workstations (Logic, ProTools etc) but I like Cubase the best. Its tools suit my workflow. As for instruments I mostly use VSTs from the East West Quantum Leap catalogue, but I also have NI Komplete Ultimate 9, a few things from Impact Soundworks and a few other minor things. If you want any more details let me know :)

no worries! i don't record any of the instruments myself as i have neither the space nor the actual instruments haha, but i mostly play the parts in using a usb midi keyboard and then use sound libraries, which i modify and beat into submission until they sound somewhat like what i want. naturally the vocals are recorded though :P
