Waste Management: Brand New Peterbilt 520 NGen McNeilus ZR Garbage Truck

- After a year of waiting for new trucks to come in, my local WM yard finally received three of these 520 ZRs with the McNeilus NGen tailgate. I recently decided to check out WM’s Saturday route in Live Oak to see if this truck happened to be running and luckily I went on the right week, as the driver who is assigned this truck just happened to be working that Saturday. Despite the arm being on the slower side, this truck looks really cool with the new WM logo and CNG tailgate. Overall, a super nice looking truck in my opinion. Enjoy!

Cool find, nice to see a shiny new truck with the new logo, also collecting carts with the new logo lol I actually really like how the 520 looks in combination with the McNeilus body too. It's so weird seeing these ZRs with CNG tailgates but I like the look of it, overall great video! Keep up the good work!

My yard copped a pete ZR back in 2022, its interesting that big green is trying to put these in any CNG equipped yard they possibly can. The Ngen tailgate with the flat top is odd, they shouldve opted with the round CNG Tailgate over it, honestly i like pete 520 ZRs alot and happy to see they opted to get this with the new new logo!
ZRs are the only thing WM runs for ASL around here. Pretty soon I believe all yards are going to switch to Heil so that will be interesting when it happens. The NGen tailgate is pretty cool in my opinion but they could have gone for a more rounder one similar to Heils. The new logo definitely pulls it together though!

seems wm's trying to get these in whatever yard they can. Not a fan of the "N gen tailgate" but the livery is fresh

CNG tailgate No good. Making a truck longer that has to navigate tight areas. Sometimes when we back up we have no room left behind us and that’s within a CNG tank in the TG
