This is well said dude! Like that you kept it down to earth because, for sure, lots of people can’t afford fancy phones. Can’t stand videos that are like “I took these photos using only my Leica m9 and it’s so simple anyone should do it!”
I think i have been watching your videos since a year ago or more, and this video is the first one from your channel. Found this video when some startup social project invited me as volunteer to record everything they did, even though i had zero professional experience at the time. You really built the foundation of videography for me personally, even though until now i am still not an expert yet, but at least after watching this video i was paid by my higher ups because turned out that i did decent in the project. It is sad that project ends and i switch to another job as a legal in a private company. But i can't thank you enough for you this video. I watched this so many times just to remember why i started loving videographies, and i will put the lessons into good use and trying my best to improve. Wish me luck on my trip to Japan in 2022 or 2023, hope i will create something close to your videos. Thanks for everything, Andy!
Andy, first I want to say this video on mobile videography is awesome, and a real eye-opener. I am stepping up my videography game for this year in 2020. First, I got me an iPhone 7, secondly, I just purchased a FeiyuTech Vimble 2 To go with my iPhone. I am well on my way. But it is a good thing to remember, no matter what equipment or what smart phone anyone uses, it still Boils down to the technique, and the creativity we as video marketers are able to achieve that really makes us stand out against the competition. Great value as always!
You could say Andy provided 6 tips. 1) Reveal Shots 2) In Camera Transitions 3) Portrait Mode vs Landscape 4) Take 1-3 second b roll clips 5) Time Lapse 6) Resolution Great stuff!
Your video is gold!! It's so simple and short yet you managed to teach so much information that any person could apply with their phone right now. Shoot more videos, brother!! 💯
Great tips bro! Simple and easy to follow! I love the in-camera transitions. I will definitely try this tip this weekend and next week. I have the Zhiyun Smooth 4 which is my go-to gimbal for smartphone / mobile videography. I think it's going for $100 right now. I shoot videos using the gimbal on my TH-cam channel.
Hey Andy, This is LorneTLW from Australia, I'm only new to TH-cam a bigginer, and I've been watching your videos for a while you are a true inspiration and I love your work and you are so informative and helpful. Words can't explain how greatful I am to have found you on TH-cam. Keep up the great work and I wish you a life time of happiness and success in all that you do. Thankyou for sharing and I will continue to keep having fun exploring and learning on my TH-cam journey. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for inspiring me. Look fwd to keeping up with your work. CONGRATS ON 10K! You are so so talented and you are going to get way more subscribers. Thank you, as always, for all these tips! I can’t wait to put them to the test #fammm
Thanks Andy! This was super helpful, I would love to keep hearing more tips on filmmaking. I've had my channel for less than a year and have been shooting on my iPhone 5s and I feel like i've been getting better but my broll... is not the best so this helps a lot. I didn't think/know about the reveal shots. Going to use that for my next vlog! :)
THIS IS AMAZING! Thank you so much for this sir Andy! 🙏 Your videos are so inspiring and the fact that your are only using mobile, for videography, just proves that being creative is the most important part, not the gears or equipments. It's the person behind the camera. 👌 Excited to see more from your works sir, keep killing it!!! 💯🔥
BRO!! just discovered you on sara dietschy's Podcast. I can't even tell you how stoked I am about your channel. Such great content and similar to what im trying to do. Love it!
About 2 years ago when I decided to do videos outside my desk, I decided to go mobile despite all the friends asked me to go out with a proper camera. Yes I have to let go of some elements, zoom and DOP but then there are many other things I can do.
Awesome video bro! Very helpful ! Keep up the great work..im very inspired by your videos and just makes me shoot and create more mobil work with my iphoneXR . My Gf just bought me that gimbal and love that thing..keep killing it man I’m learning a lot from your work ! ⚡️
Your very talented and have some great tips here. Thank you! Glad I found your channel. I have a small channel that I do mostly drone video for. I just got a gopro 5 black from a buddy. I'm learning slowly but surely. Always remember..........the best camera in the world is the one you have on you!!!!
Thank yoh so much for this. You arr doing a great job. You deserve millions of subscribers. And I have seen your work for Beautiful destinations; you will reach to a million milestone soon. :)
I film with android phones mostly due to the high memory capacity. I was able to edit a video while shooting a street event. Sometimes I use gopro hero 6 for difficult terrain like mountains and water activities. I'm new posting on youtube but creating videos has always been a dream and a passion of mine.
Thanks for your tips 😊 I have a smart phone for year and i didn't know that fast shooting video is a time lapses, i don't know what the purpose of time lapses but for now i know how to use this, and to be use for my plan to start a vlog. Keep it bro 😉
damn you're killing it! btw u inspire me because of your love for editing, i need to learn that attitude from u! i have so many vlogs that are backed up and they're almost irrelevant now idk if i should just force myself to edit or move on and start over, help!?
This is neat, especially seeing that you're just using the built-in Camera app. I've found a lot of the other ones I've tried to be too complicated for my needs.
1 : Reveal Shot
2 : Transitions
3: Landscape mode
4 : Timelapse mode
5 : Resolution ( 4K 30fps)
nabihah Rasli why 4k 30fps not 4k 60fps?
Practicing this with my Android Phone and my bike as my tool for panning or sliding. Hope it'll gonna improve soon.
@@simonchoo1108 yeahh why not 4k 60fps?? I want to know it
@@zuddtraXR for my phone, it's because 4k60fps doesn't support video stabilisation

This comment is unnecessary... If its an andy to upload no one should be missin out to anythin!
That sounds a bit specific, i'll look into it!
was the video shot by iPhone X?
