- I was able to pair the GoPro Hero 12 with the Cardo pack talk Edge for Vlog, lets see how it went.
**⚠️ warning ⛔️ Turn your pack talk volume to low immediately when doing this. The GoPro Hero 12 prompt sounds come through your speakers 🔊 and are extremely loud .
You can edit and enhance the audio tracks in post. It did glitch out as seen in video and audio quality is still better using the media mod and external mic.
The Bluetooth pairing was easy using the. Cardo app and GoPro menu screen.
I’m wondering if there is a max recording limit per clip and that’s why the audio stoped on my last clip. Overall it did work with the Cardo pack talk Edge microphone.

I've just discovered tonight that the 12 has dual audio channels, one from your external mic (like you I have the cardo edge) and one from its internal mic. In my opinion it makes the video sound much better with both of them enabled and the volumes adjusted in your vid software.
Also my audio is patchy at times, I was told to make sure the phone isn't connected to the cardo at the same time as the gopro, I'm yet to confirm that though.
How do I access dual channels in post editing?
@@NorCal-refrigeration I guess it depends on your software, I use Adobe Premiere and in there it shows one video track and two audio tracks (one being the cardo and the other is the gopro mic). If you open your raw footage in VLC go to the audio tab and select audio track and flick between track 1 and 2, you'll see the two different captures there as well.

Yep. It works but it’s not trust worthy in my opinion. The media mod works well. I’ll mess around with it some more.
If you try it have your head set volume low. The GoPro beeps will smoke 💨 your ears 👂
