I’m also never interested in running stores but I like to have my sims, especially my poorer/rags to riches sims, go to the store to buy their furniture. Especially if the store has a thrift/vintage vibe. It helps add to my gameplay and make it a little realistic!

@@simqueen9945 I found James Turner's videos to be really helpful with running a store. I also took a little inspiration from Carl's Sims guide and opened a flower shop. Made lots of money.
