5 years later, Nov 2023, and I found your tutorial. It’s still helping us out here. Thank you so much.
So glad to hear that. I've been contemplating deleting my videos. As I am no longer active on TH-cam.
Thank you!!!! I went from palm rolling to interlocking and have Y's that I need to fix. Your tutorial is the easiest and best I've seen!!👏👏👏👏
Thanks so much. I really appreciate it.
Well explained. Now won't panic with the thought of holes..! 🎉
Glad it's helpful. Thanks for stopping by.
You are a life saver!! I never knew how to close the holes until now. Thank you so much!!
You're so welcome 🙏
This tutorial was so perfect and easy to follow!! Thank you so much!
You're welcome, glad it was helpful.
Holes happen to those installing locs as a Sisterlock consultant Sandra Cloud only refunded $500 of $750 and each and every loc was full of several holes and horrible internal integrity compromises. Thanks for this video! I'm going to try this today wash day!
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing.
This technique is easy and totally works! Thanks.😊
You're welcome.
Thank you for this cause ive been on my jorney for maybe 4months now. And have a hole in a few locs asked my roommate who's had locs to fix them and she made them even bigger🤣🤣
Thank you so much because I watched another video that told me to keep going in the hole until it closed up and my lock snapped and broke so thank you so much for posting another method. Thanks
My pleasure 🙏🏾 With this method your locs will stay strong, I've only had good feedback. Glad you found it helpful.
Wow thank you ! This is the most helpful loc repair I’ve seen . Very detailed and straight to the point . Thanks for sharing
We're welcome, glad it helped you.
I discovered this video today 12/22/22 and want to thank the creator🙏🏾 I’ve been watching tons of videos for months and this is the first one ☝🏾 to show this process so clearly and explaining so clearly and thoroughly🎉🎉🎉 I’m so appreciative! I’m about to look through your vids after I hit subscribe but will ask anyway, do you have vids with similar detail and explanation on how to fix thinning spots in your locs w/ that needle tool? Thxs 🥰🙏🏾
Really appreciate your comment. And I'm glad my videos are helping you. I don't have any on thinning but I did answer questions on how to take care of your locs. Thanks for your lovely message.
Mannnn I'm so glad I found this thank you!
Hi, how are this needles called? I can't find them on eBay. I'm in the UK
It's called a wool needle. You can find it on Amazon. But you can also use the metall loc tool.
Thanks for sharing as always. Looking forward to sharing your second loc journey with you.
You're welcome, glad it helped.
Thank you as always hun. I have been filling in bit by bit, you are doing well.
Thank you 😘Honey Mcp my pleasure, I'm glad you came to watch 😄
Can you do this close to the root or do you have to wait until it grows out to like mid shaft?
I would allow it to grow out a little
This is helpful. The issue I’ve had with my starter locs is picking up strands of the neighboring loc when I’m interlocking. I created two different connected locs. I have popped a few strands here and there but I think I need to grab the scissors to fix this. Any tips for fixing or preventing this? Thanks.
Nicole Jean oh yeah, that happens to me as well, sometimes I manage to reverse that rotation but in worse cases, I alow it to grow out, then I cut those strands. I make sure I wrap the strands around the loc before re-tightening and I try to clip my locs apart as much as possible. I may have to mention this in the future.
FENETI right, I started clipping my hair much more after the last mistake. Thanks!
Very helpful & easy to follow tutorial! Where did you or can I get that pointed needle?
Thanks glad it's helpful. I modified it myself, but I now use a much better tool which you can get from me here 👉etsy.me/2OSJPVK
@feneti are you still selling a tool?
I definetly needed this thankyou Feneti
You're welcome 😄
Perfect. THANK YOU
My pleasure 🙏🏾
This women interlocked my hair without my permission and did this . I hope my mom can fix this
Yes, you can fix it.
i feel you bro my locktician do the same to me
Thank you sooo much (5 years later)!
My pleasure 🙏🏾
This was soooo helpful

Thanks so much!
You're welcome 🤗
Ugh what a God sent. 🥺💕💕💕
Nice to hear that. Glad it's helpful.

NaturalCurls4Life glad it's going to help you. Thanks for leaving a comment 😄
@@fenetiwoman I used this method and it worked perfectly. Thanks so much.
@@naturalcurls4life576 my pleasure 🙏 so glad it helped
Amazing thanks so much 🙏
Excellent info.
Thank you so much.
I am very glad it helped you. Thanks for stopping by.
@@fenetiwoman You are very welcome
Hey Feneti.... I was wondering where I can get those loc tools? Especially the pointed one... the link is not in the video.... thanks luv. Great video
Hey Emmanuela, I use a wool needle which I modified. You can modify your tool as well, these can be found in the hobby department in stores. This is how I did mine, click to watch 👉 th-cam.com/video/Cz8__nVrkc0/w-d-xo.html hope that helps you.
Great video. Creating hole is one reason why I am afraid to self retighten. Any tips for keeping track of direction?
Thank you Saundra Naughton I just always know that I never end piercing from down to up (6 o'clock to 12 o'clock) so if I don't remember where I ended, I just start from there. Hope this helps 😊
Im extra late and feneti did answer the question. But I was doing some of mine earlier and I make sure to end the loc either with pulling thru the top or the bottom, that way no matter what I can start retightening from the side and wont get a hole. I started my interlocs going counterclockwise starting at the 3. So, I'll flip the piece (my)right, down(towards my body), then (my) left, and up (away from my body). So with it ending with the loc going up I know I'll go sideways the next time. If I only make it to the down spot and I can't do anymore I'll leave it.
@@biancagoodman860 Thanks your contribution, really appreciate that 🙏
Bianca Goodman: Thanks for that tip! You explained it very well.
@@saundranaughton6069 no problem! Im new to it but im a semi perfectionist lol. So i gotta get it right. Ive been working on my microlocs all week lol
Thank you soooo much
Does this technique also fix if there’s a hole in the root, making your locs separate and break?
I want to know the answer to this too? Does it?
What about some of the locs feeling like knots at roots from improper interlocking? On starter locs
I would wait till they grow out. This method is for repairing holes or bumps. I think knots are a bit different.
Great video🤗
Very, very helpful. Just what I needed. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Thx u ❤
Thank you
You're welcome.
I have locks for 1 month, my loctician interlocked my hair and she did it in the wrong way, so i have gaps at my locks' root :(
In your opinion can i crochet the gaps with a basic crochet" or should i wait to do what you've showed in this video?
That's really hard to judge without seeing any pictures. As you can see, I used a modified wool needle, I am not familiar with a crochet. Glad this tutorial was helpful to fix your locs.
How do you care for your hair before Bed do you tie it down or just leave it be?
Nadine Klaus Normally I should tie it down every night but I've not been consistent with it, to be honest 😬
Can you interlock your hair from the root down ?
Hmm, never thought of that. I actually don't know.
Great video 🙌🏽👏🏽
Thank you.
Very nice.
How did you make that loc to demonstrate the technique?
Cookie I demonstrated how I created that loc in this video th-cam.com/video/3t3hIPQ4wjk/w-d-xo.html
This is perfect 🥰ty
Thanks a lot
You're welcome ☺️
Name of took?i have some holes in my dreads it’s annoying
I use a modified wool needle. I have a video that shows how I made it.
What’s the name of the tool you used ?
I used a wool needle which I modified. See how I did it in this video: th-cam.com/video/Cz8__nVrkc0/w-d-xo.html hope that helps.
I interlocked my fiance's dreads and this happened and she's has fine hair and I want to correct the mistake before it moves down... will it still pass through with thick ends??
Not sure, but you can try and see if that works.
Thank you very much.
got holes so tight that they wont be able to get closed is there any other way to fix the whole ?
But if they are right how can they be holes? Or do you mean knots? Hope you find a solution to your issue. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Crotchet it
