I really forgot how much i love trains and crossings until i got back into them again. Our town recently integrated a light rail system and added a bunch of new crossings so i might try to catch it sometime.
General signals still makes their type 1 ebell But sides the GE ebell The general signals type 1 ebell is my favourite electronic crossing bell I hope to get someday
Dunno if you guys gives a damn but if you're bored like me atm then you can stream all of the new series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my brother these days :)
In 8:35, some of the signals have the griswold bottoms. In 9:44, the pedestrian crossing gate can be seen on the right which was in your Pedestrian Walkway Crossing Gate videos. In 17:19 is a set of retro styled cantilever crossing signals. And in 19:07 is one of the other pedestrian crossing gates that was in the other video.
The Siemens E-Bell is still there with the GS Type 3 still also. The gated mast and Cantilever still has both pairs of there mast lights also. SACRT at this point is leaving the signal as is since its havent been touched for two months since the new cantilever been installed.
It’s basically going to be more common to see bell combos at level crossings in Wellington, New Zealand possibly Auckland because they got pedestrian crossings that KiwiRail is installing and the regular crossing itself
Thanks! The Safetran Type 1 E-Bell is still at Florin Rd on the Sac Sub but 14th Ave's Safetran Type 1 is probably one of the ones that were at S St, V St, W St, and 47th Ave crossings on the Sac Sub.
@@freebrickproductions The Safetran EM Signal that was hit had a GS Type 2 E-Bell that UP got from SACRT's temporary cantilever signal that was here back when the Blue Line was first being built in the phase 1 section in 2001 before SACRT decided to redesign the line through here in 2001 - 2002 taking there tracks out the Florin Rd crossing and built the bridge over Florin Rd for the tracks instead before opening for service in 2003. Basically in 2001 - 2002 UP purchased the shoulder and median Safetran EM Signals under the light rail bridge to match the other two EM Signals which is why the ones under the bridge have 12x24 inch lights and the other side has 12x20 inch lights until that shoulder EM signal was hit. SACRTs Cantilever signal was removed when the other two Safetran EM Signals were installed. I wish UP kept the cantilever and just remove the gated signal to it just like they kept the gateless signal that was SACRTs.
Kinda yes & no. UP abandoned the line since it has no customers anymore and cut it from the main. SACRT ownes the signals but doesn't maintain them anymore.

Great video!
Where’s that Siemens type 3 at now on Stockton? Also are there 2 bells on one side?

@@MobileRailSpotterRxR Nice video
0:56 **Just a Casual mini malfunction because the gates are being stupid*
8:40 why did the gate go back up?
Some of the EM Signal there pump for some reason when lowering.
It’s basically going to be more common to see bell combos at level crossings in Wellington, New Zealand possibly Auckland because they got pedestrian crossings that KiwiRail is installing and the regular crossing itself
First video: Is that a malfunction? When the gates went up, the front gate started to come back down twice.
Yes.
I don't know if it's a good thing to do but that one should be checked out.
