biggest problem is the A2G missile speed. It's significantly slower than the Hellfire, and incredibly slow compared to the Vikhr and Atacka; This means you an ADATS/Tungy/OTO can simply out speed you. Their missile will kill you before your missile gets half way there. Missile speed at top tier is arguably more important than PEN/Exp mass
Sounds like a skill issue
The biggest problem is simply the artificially nerfed guidance method that makes all western and Chinese Hellfire style missiles inferior to the Russian beam riding missiles. A tiny tree or smoke grenade makes a Hellfire obsolete while the Russian missile can happily ignore it.

The vehicle also has a bug of having more kg parasitic drag. Holding 12 Vikhrs have 0.0504 kgf of drag while holding the 8 AKD-10s have about 2.5 kgfs of drag.
Live server data mine shows they increased the amount of weight you can take on either sides of the helicopter from 800 kg to 1000 kg each. They also lowered the weight of the Ty-90S (x4) so we may be able to carry both 8 AKD-10s and 8 TY-90s. I wouldn't see why we can't when the Z-10 IRL can carry 16 AKD-10s.
Same reason the Chinese are for the most part stuck with atrocious rockets in game, despite using better ones in real life. The Type-57 rockets are a complete joke.
@@Boopity7739 or the ZTZ99A with it's 7,1 sec reload while so many sites state it does 10 shot per minute in normal circumstances.

@@Boopity7739 the ztz99a has way worse hull armor than the ztz99 even when irl it has improved armor. Gaijin could have literally just kept the same armor as the ztz99 but they had to make it worse so now top tier shells can easily pen it.
CM-502KG agm is in the files, which Z-10 can carry and its a F&F missile. If they gave it them & ability to carry missiles on inner pylons I believe its worth 11.0 otherwise in its current state Z-19 > Z-10

Yeah I was hoping the CM-502 would make it into patch but I guess we gotta wait but hopefully gajin will speed up its development considering the glaring performance issues it has currently…
They will probably give CM502 to another Z10 at 11.3 just to extend the grind. I think our current Z10 is simply getting the short end of the stick and will be nothing but filler in tree.

Dont lie justin. Its a garbage, its worse then all Apaches, its worse then most 10.7s, its worse then the Rooivalk which is 10.7 as well.
Its mot a 11.0 helicopter by any means. 1400mm pen is yeah good but its explosive weight is worse then hellfire. Dumb rockets are also garabge THE worst heat rockets you can have. And you cant carry more then 4xATGM with AAMs which are the only decent thing about it.
Its just a underpowered apache. To grind so much RP through all thoes helis to get probably the worst 11.0 helicopter. Totally not worth it to grind almost any of these helis. Some are unique but worse then most other at similar BRs.
Dead. This TT is mostly dead. No one will bother with this crap considering how powerfull are VT-1/ADATS missiles. Helicopters with laser guided hellfire type ATGMs are overall not that good not only becauss these missiles are not performing really well but also because of the maps and lack of mechanics for these weapons like buddy lasing, selectable attack path and other useful features Gaijin refuses to add to weapons and helicopters.
I feel sorry buying the Z-19E now compared to the same price Rooivalk which is awesome.
The rest of the tech tree is really good though. Yea the Z-10 sucks right now because Gaijin artificially nerfed all Hellfire style missiles so Russians get to dominate with their beam riding missiles.
Yeah not to mention the rockets are just crap compared to even the mighty mouse that US Heli uses, hydra-70, s-8ko. Heck even the French snebs are better and you get more of them compared to the Chinese type 90-1(fs70 or whatever it's new name is) and the underwhelming type 28-1.
Z-10 and TT Z-19 are really the only helis in there that are bad/meh. The rest of the heli tree is amazing and fills the CAS gap that many Chinese ground players were feeling.
Did you buy the Rooivalk? I was tempted to get it, but flying it out in test drive it seems to be a buggy mess. The missiles don't track well and it has the tendency to go into an uncontrollable dive if you try to roll.
But it's hard to get a feel of a vehicle just by flying it in test drive.
true, the most DOGSHIT and overnerfed heli in the game. better taking a mi-4AV at top tier at this point. won't grind the chinese heli tree unless they gib it AG300M and/or CM502KG
In a sense, it is still in the test server, Z10 should also add new ATGM.
It has a handful of atgms not added ..gajin ga e it boring nerfed hellfires when the Z10 can carry the CM502 fire and forget missile.
There is a bug report to give it ability to carry agms & aams on inner pylons that's been accepted

I hope Gaijin adds the Z-10ME No. 2 prototype. It comes with a MMW radar, powerful engines, F&F missiles, DIRCM, ECMs etc

overnerfed dogshit for such a long-awaited vehicle. if they're not gonna make it carry more AGMs, or give it at least the AG300M, then it should be 10.7 or even 10.3 more than 11.0

@@homosapien4229 it’s the Q-5D, which is not in game yet. The closest thing in WarThunder to BF4 Q-5 is the A5C

I was really happy Chinese helis came but at the same time I don't feel like grinding them simply because I never use missiles when I fly Heli apart from pve. I always use rockets instead and the Chinese rockets just aren't that good compared to others.

Yea the stock grind of this is probably the worst of all the top helis, do to the S-5K equivalent stock rockets. Even in heli PvE with the broken Rolands and the new cheater, 1 hiting, AMX DCAs; that's just wont do much good. But its look's good, and the radar just makes a helicopter look stupid. + Its not another AH-64D.
Formal petition to you or any other WT content creator to make videos with lineups taken from Battlefield 3-4, now that we have almost every fighting vehicle and helicopter seen in those games (only missing the LAV-25, BTR-90 and ZBL-08). Would serve absolutely no purpose but would be cool to watch nonetheless.
Z10 makes no sense its empty weight is 5100kg and take-off weight is 7000kg
So total payload is just 1900kg payload+ fuel )which makes no sense in comparison with same category bell viper which can which can carry 2.8 tons fuel + payload.
Infact indias attack role prachand is superior from both its empty weight is 2250kg and maximum take off weights is 5800kg which mean it can carry total of 3550 kg of payload + fuel. And still it has more powerful engines than z10(1283hp) which lch has is 1384hp win early 15 initial production models which will be replaced by 1600hp indigenous hal htfe1200 engine for 156 ordered 😅
Still weights 1.2tons less than z10 and more capable Same for hal rudra multirole it also carries 12-14troops with attack hellicopters missiles and has a gun as well...
And the color of Z-10 in game is totally wrong.It is very pure black in reality,while in game it is very ugly grey-green...the fucking joking is that picture of Z-10 while entering into game is very pure black.I think maybe gaijin just lazy,they give these two part works to 2 company,one makes it very black and beautiful,the model company make it grey-green very ugly.Anyone can give color change report to gaijin？Sadly i dont know how to let them see,i give a report on reddit.but i guess the gaijin wont see.

There are too many practical problems, and this update is too hasty. The whole Chinese helicopter line is full of bugs. Including but not limited to the missile weight and resistance, it is obvious that the punctuation is wrong. The mounting of the z10 has not been completed at all. The akd10 covers the akd9, but the missile's self explosion is still set at the self explosion distance of the akd9, causing the missile to self explode before it reaches the paper range.

And the thing is, good luck grinding these in heli PVE now that the convoys there have 100% accuracy that you can't avoid lmao, the real gem of this tree is the Z-9WA at 9.7 with EIGHT a2a missiles

Solid ground lineup and the me262 will be a bit lacking in an up tier but good for 7.3 because of that 50mm
@@yasinbxlicky the Me-262 I'm talking about is the squadron one, the one with 4 30 mm cannons, and the 2 20 mm cannons. But I have thought about potentially replacing it with the 50mm version, or even having both of them. But thanks for your feedback. :)
This addition is needed in the game because Камов design bureau was involved comrade )))))) and we all know how much player base enjoyed Ka-50 and Ka-52.

So all in all there are 0 cons since the T129 is worse is everyday besides flight characteristics
Maybe if they made it properly, irl it has targeting radar and fire and forget missiles, and more types of atgms
The Z-10 we have in game is a basic variant, the Z-10ME has the radar as well as IRCM, laser jamming and better engines

I love the Heli gameplay in this game the Alouette is my favorite, just a bush heli with tv guided. The upper tier of choppers seem fun I'm just not there yet, like you said that grind is rough.

It does 1400 mm its a modern tandem missile. The HOT-3 missiles were introduced in 1998 and have 1250 mm of pen.
