Remember, he can be a perfectly slim Cicilia (the kid he high fived), just as well as a perfectly buff Mariano, all body types different from his own. He probably didn't know exactly how thin Bruno was and made his imitation that of an average 50 year old man. But apparently Bruno was below average in terms of muscle mass and that's how Mirabel noticed he was a fake
