It’s all in the Bible, I work with an older man for years and whenever I have a question concerning just about anything I call him up and he immediately goes to scriptures and gives me his answers from the Bible , he told me if anyone brings anything up about worldly concerns he just points them to what it says in the Bible, I’ve been reading my bible daily for months, even though raised Church of Christ I read scriptures and knew the Bible stories but now actually reading every word from every book , for myself spiritually and so I can actually back up my positions with scripture and guide others if possible, this channel has really helped , thank you

Thank you brother Hixson and Clarke for your insight. On the 16 minute mark of the video, brother Clarke mentions getting authority for instruments in the New Testament and how some may turn to The Old Testament to do so in order to justify their beliefs regarding instruments and I suppose other topics as well. ( i.e. Tattoos and drinking etc.)
My question is to what degree should we revert back to the Old Testament for anything? Should we first look for clarity and authority in the New Testament FIRST before we can make a case for using Old Testament scriptures and reference. Brothers I am just looking for clarity and want to rightly divide the truth. Thank you both for your time. May God continue to Bless your ministry.

Great lesson brothers. I have a question. What about head coverings. I grew up attending a brethren (denomination) church where women wore head coverings as Paul clearly commanded in the NT

Thanks for touching on immodest dress and social drinking. Its not surprising that worldly people do those things, but N.T. Christians? What a shame and disgrace!!!!!

I don't think in, and of themselves, tattoos and piercings are sinful. But many get them so they can be like their worldly friends. When we want to act and appear like the world, we are in sin.

Yes, I understand the old covenant today, coming to the knowledge of the truth late in life, was not raised in a Christian home and meeting my minster from a jail cell and be baptized into Christ just 2yrs ago, will my tattoos keep me out of heaven?
What can wash away my sins?
Nothing but the blood of JESUS!!
      Romans 6:3-4& Gal 3:27&1 Peter 3:21

@@SumiNaga19this is a great example of proof texting folks. Why don't you explain the context "USSR413"?
I think if you did, you would realize how ridiculous it is to just share this scripture in regard to tattoos lol

When all is said and done there is a lot more said than done. So it's time to do the doing. And I am confident that you will back that up with scripture.

What is called Worship in the churches today is not worship. It is just a worldly performance by an extremely loud band and gyrating singers while the congregation are just sitting in the dark as spectators watching smoke and flashing lights and trying to sing some song that nobody knows. The Bible doesn't even say that worship is in particular singing. The first time that the word Worship was used in the Bible was by Abraham when he was on his way to follow God's command to sacrifice his son.

There was a time when The Church posed a danger to the world. What happened? 😏

Hopefully they were buried with Christ in baptism and rised to walk in newest of life. Romans 6:1-7. The world being reborn, I guess is a danger to satan and his minions.

As always these guys copy preachers from denominations teachings and sermons. Copy cats. Why? Bc they want to deceive so they can proselytize.
