DC “jumped the shark “ with this one…
As soon as I saw the thumbnail and title of this video, I flashbacked to some "What if...?" stories DC ran in the Superman titles a long time ago in which they proposed what would have happened if baby Kal had landed somwhere other than Earth: Thanagar, Oa, etc.
A story in which kal el landed on Soviet union I still remember they has awesome story line , appreciate man hope u love the content on this channel
I would like to see (Green-Lantern Superman) make his appearance in the new DC cartoon shows.

Would make a very interesting movie. I thought about this countless of times when I was still collecting comic books as a young child. I’m sure many have too.

That could be a valuable combo for him because certain forms of radiation like kryptonite or radiation from a red sun can harm him and the force field that would surround his body would protect him from those few weaknesses.
Also, depending on the iteration of the character he can only fly a fraction of the speed of light (post crisis for example) and the rings enable hyperspace jumps which is way faster.
In some of the stories he needs oxygen to survive. IN the late 1980s for example when in Post Crisis continuity he left Earth to explore space (first time he met Mongul) he had a breathing apparatus but the inside of the ring's force field is better than a space suit and provides breathable air.
If he had to battle an enemy that can hit so hard that his "indestructibility" hits its limit, like Doomsday or another Kryptonian like General Zod for example the ring's force field can give him extra protection reducing the damage.
The ring's constructs could give him more long range weaponry to at the very least buy him time against opponents like Lobo or Doomsday.
If anything happens to deplete his powers as often happens in the stories he can rely on the ring for some form of super power until has powers are eventually restored (as they always are).
Kind of reminds me of the "Amalgam" stories of the 1990s except instead of combining a Marvel and a DC character its 2 DC characters.

And the ring's ability to provide life support, breathable air, and protective force fields could certainly enhance Superman's survivability and adaptability in different environments and scenarios.
Exploring this concept in the context of the DC animated shows could open up new storytelling avenues and generate excitement among fans, reminiscent of the innovative "Amalgam" stories from the 1990s. @@Pixelmind_studios You know what would be a CRAZY fight? Green Lantern Superman vs Yellow Lantern General Zod. 2 super beings armed with power rings fighting each other would be sick. I think that the Yellow power rings are slightly more powerful than the green ones (Some have said that the different colors are just different emotions and not power levels. but in the Post Crisis continuity when Guy Gardner got Cinestro's yellow ring in Guy Gardner Reborn he said that it was more powerful than the green lantern ring he once had). If so then Superman would be the underdog in 2 ways: General Zod is stronger and as a military warrior a better trained fighter and if he had a more powerful ring it could make Superman the underdog in 2 levels.

I personally preferred the idea of Nightwing getting a power ring, but I am a "Wingnut". Superman having one is an embarrassment of riches.
