When The Sentry and World War Hulk fought, the Sentry was literally weakened from his mental state and still had to be talked down in that fight. Idk why people say Hulk won lol. Sentry was cooking him, even let Hulk wail on him at one point until he felt better, all while weakened. He started losing control though and was about to kill everyone. Hulk then gave him a speech about it being his choice whether or not to be a savior or destroyer, which Bob resonated with and chilled out. Even thanked him before tapping out. So, a weakened version of Sentry pretty much beat the 2nd strongest Hulk form. A stable Sentry would've surely beaten World War Hulk, and would've contended with Worldbreaker. There's also The Void, who Hulk is terrified of. He could also do him like he did Molecule Man
It's world breaker hulk one of the strongest version of hulk who took out practically every single hero on earth.

But their isn't any videos on TH-cam hardly detailing how powerful he is and he has one of the most robust power sets in DC and the Firestorm Matrix is very interesting. I thoroughly enjoy this character because even someone as powerful as he is can't just brush his psyche aside, his struggles are very much relatable to me.

I think about it.. It's the same thing with Superman basically. It's not fun watching or reading something when the main character is virtually unbeatable.. What's the point of reading or watching that material when you know the character is going to win 1000% of the time.
sentry is easly out-matched by most superheroes if he doesn`t deletes them from reality first, he is crazy and stupid with no training and with mental inestabillity, he is easly manipulated.

Sentry's purpose is based on the "what if" theory, and that is "what if" the most absurd being on earth had a split personality disorder. Sentry is not in a lot of comics because Marvel can only do so much with a Mary Sue like Sentry. Which is why when Sentry shows up in a Marvel comic, something seriously fucked up is going to happen it then just becomes a matter of when.

Sentry has fought thor mutiple times.
The death seed that he got when he became a horsemen doesn't amplify someone's powers. When Iceman got it it he was told that it only clears someone's mind so they can use their full power without restraint whereas in sentry's case the death seed freed him of the void so he could use his full power without worrying about the void taking over. Sentry even says that he regenerated from an atom after being thrown in the sun in his human form.
Finally someone finally giving sentry some fame. I think they should bring him in infinate warfare in the MCU don't ya agree

Is intangibility different from invisibility and invulnerability? I keep hearing about super heroes with this power and I'm not sure what that means exactly. I looked up the definition but am still confused
intangible : the ability to go through matter and energy
invisibility : people can't see you
invulnerability : cannnot be harmed by physical attacks, weapons and energy
Intangibility is when you can walk/phase through anything. A power that can be used very uniquely

Level Z Most of the feats you mentioned are Silver Age Stupidity. Current Superman dies horribly to Current Sentry. Surviving a big bang explosion is redundant if the Man you're fighting cannot die unless he wants to. Sentry is the most powerful telepath on Marvel Earth he could mind fuck Superman without lifting a finger and Superman is highly susceptible to telepathy. Sentry wins via hax alone

The powers of comics characters come from the *writers imagination*, not scientific facts... So if Superman can achieve the impossible, why not Sentry? (it works both ways).
Unlike Sentry, Superman (like every other main characters such as Thor, Goku, Naruto) has the status that gives him "the infinite feats ability"

I literally don't understand why people still see superman winning a fight between these two. There are multiple ways sentry could kill superman, what the hell can superman do to sentry to put him down for good? A fight between these two would eventually lead up to sentry getting so out of control that the void comes out, and when the void comes out then superman is fucked. Void>superman prime one million. People who have never read comics will say that superman prime one million is the most powerful version of superman, but he has no feats to support this claim. He didn't recreate krypton, he had someone do it for him. He didn't defeat Solaris, he had back up from various JL teams, all he did was get the finishing blow, it was Kyle rayner who did most of the work. He didn't bring back Lois lane, he had to get her DNA to do so which he didn't even do. It was hourman who brought Lois back to life. He didn't create his own universe, him saying "Welcome to my universe" doesn't mean he created a universe, it just means that he's welcoming someone to the universe that that someone has just came into. It's the same as someone saying "Welcome to my home", or "Welcome to my school". It doesn't mean you created/built the house or school, it means that you live or go there. There is no "most powerful version of superman", the normal superman is as powerful as the character gets. I'm not even gonna consider pre crisis superman because literally every other comic book character was doing ridiculous shit back then on par with pre crisis supes. Before any of you even say thought robot/cosmic armor superman is the most powerful version of superman, then you're wrong. Thought robot isn't even a version of superman, its an entirely different character created by the monitors. I dare any of you to give a solid argument for why superman beats sentry, I bet I can debunk your reasons. With that being said, neither one of these characters are considered op in my book because there are dozens upon dozens of other characters that could destroy these two with a blink of an eye.
The Hulk Superman is still stronger,
-he can survive the explosion of big bang
-shattered reality (universe to multiverse)
-destroy an entire planet with a single strike.
-break dimensions with the force of his fist.
-survived the magical explosion of the source wall that could've end the universe
-he can accelerate at nanosecond speed, perception and reaction.
-he was fast enough to zoom through the 4th dimension.
-he survived 50 red sun explosions without a scratch.
-his heat vision can tear through space and time... even withstand black holes.
-using Kryptonian martial arts pressure point to paralyze its opponents.
-he vaporize half a galaxy with ease!
-he can instant lobotomies someone with heat vision.
-he can lift the weight of the earth for 5 days straight.
-he can hear through the vacuum of space "25 LIGHT YEARS AWAY".
-his strength rivals with a being that can lift the weight of the multiverse growing concentrate in one spot.

Each versions of Superman are just many potentials that "the character of superman" can reach. It's the core of the character that matters, the idea of "THE SUPERMAN".
Every version of superman are linked and can reach the same level in term of speed and strength, even if some of their abilities are different. We pinpoint superman at his FULL potential, not some random point in time line, even though we take some impressive time line feats, superman get stronger over time and the growth of his power is essentially LIMITLESS by continuing absorbing solar energy from the yellow sun or a blue one...
There's basically nothing the man of steel can't do. This character was created and meant to break the impossible, this is what he's all about! He inspires people to achieve dreams even if it seems to be impossible. He show what the best what we can't become. Superman is meant to be the symbols of strength in all fictional history (like Hercules the god of strength). He is a god living among man to pave them to hope. This is why he was created, this is why he stands for true justice and freedom, this is why he called superman...
But if you think sentry would win it's your opinion
this is true and untrue at the sane time. At the same time superman is the most powerful hero but he's also the most beatable, meaning he's meant to be the pinnacle of power among superheroes but he gets his ass handed to him quite alot. Also there's only so much energy he can absorb, he can't absorb energy forever as there will be a point where he's absorbed ALL of the sun's energy. The sun's energy output isn't limitless. Yes, superman would be insanely powerful if he absorbed it all but he will eventually turn back to his normal power level.
he wouldnt go to normal power level superman 1million just stayed in the sun for a thousand years and was that powerful if he were to absorb the whole thing and he could absorb a whole galaxy of suns if he wanted he would be powerful enough to beat sentry with ease

Also Superman has been defeated quite a few times. And fights villains who are as and if not more powerful than him all the time.
lordtomosdecree when Sentry was introduced nobody remembered him and the stories where really about uncovering his past and his secrets. Later in Dark Reign he is manipulated by the bad guys and basically a threat to the heroes although even villains manipulating home were scared of him. Then there is the Void aspect of him which does evil in proportion to the good he does and his general instability. He was actually a pretty interesting character but that didn't usually come from if he could beat a particular bad guy but the threat he was himself.

Honestly if they just changed his origin story to "He was a Former Herald of Galactus" I would give this character more attention. Super soldier serum doesn't make a lot of sense for the power he has. Captain America's abilities were already his, they were just amplified. (Yes, I'm aware it's a fictional character/setting).
