This is very beautiful. From the few videos I have watched, I can not help but recognise special grace of God upon your life and your parents who raised you up. You are so well adjusted. You have embraced motherhood and being a wife so beautifully. Please pass this on to your daughters. You are blessed.

Love the wrap and that baby was so comfy to fall asleep, however baby is not secure. The fabric should of been knee to knee and a good deep seat, that was not what was shown here. You also should tighten strand by strand which again wasn't done and when you superman baby you should aim to bunch the fabric as close to their face as possible so that when you guide them over they dont flop to the side, you nearly lost baby out the sling at that point. Its important to secure the straps tightly and have a hand on babys bottom whilst you secure you shouldn't just leave them on the bqck unsecured. Its nearly a year on, did you figure these bits out?

I just got that exact wrap from Oscha in the mail today, searched for back carries on TH-cam and here you are using the same one! It’s a gorgeous wrap; I’m excited about it. Looking forward to being able to wear my toddler while I’m pregnant. My soft structured carrier just isn’t feasible anymore with my big belly!

This is so amazing, thank you for sharing this. I'm gonna have to try this with my 9 month old, I work around horses a lot and this would be wonderful to have her securely on my back

My first time trying this and within 0.2 seconds of swinging my baby to my back, he grabbed a hold of my ponytail like that were reigns to his chariot 😂. We spent the rest of the video trying to pry open his tiny hands to free my hair. Now I know why she wears her hair in a high bun lmfao!

The way I cackled at this comment! 😂 Thank you for that visual! Whoever came up with the term “like taking candy from a baby” was clearly NOT a parent… because those tiny closed fists!! 😬🤣

    Hey!
I’m sorry but there is so much that is incorrect and potentially dangerous!
The way you get him on your back, I can’t believe you didn’t drop him.
Secondly, your carry is not secure until it is tied and you must have at least one hand on the baby at ALL TIMES. Standing on the wrap isn’t holding the tension and is why you are losing the seat later in the video.
There is a lot of slack in that wrap, strand-by-strand is imperative for holding the baby so they don’t slump.
I’m afraid these videos are why people think babywearing is dangerous.
Unless you are an experienced wrapper, do seek the help of a trained babywearing consultant before attempting anything like this

What size is your woven wrap. Went to purchase and there several sizes. Not sure how big I would need to back carry

Oh I would love to try a wrap like this with my 6 month old! It looks like it doesn’t put much pressure or pull on your stomach at all which I’ve been looking for. Where did you purchase your rucksack wrap? Thanks for such informative videos, I’m loving your channel!

Thanks Grace! Yes this is an Oschaslings wrap, I love all of their patterns and that they have heavier and lighter weight wraps to choose from!

That’s so cute! I had a woven cloth too, but found it too warm for summer. Then again I had my daughter strapped across my front :-) How do you make sure though with a really little one that the head is not flopping back if it’s on your back? The strap would have to be half head height? Love your videos! ❤️

This makes me regret selling my woven. It was super thick and hot though!

    • @HopewellHeights
      @HopewellHeights  2 ปีที่แล้ว

I talked to Oschaslings and they recommended this one since we have hot summers, I’ve been wearing it daily and it’s so lightweight and comfortable! I think they have a filter on their website to choose the thickness of fabric

In so many ways this tutorial is not safe...baby is not properly secure, to many loose here and there, she is lucky baby did'nt fell even while putting him back there 😇 always keep a hand on their bum ❤ She seems like a very lovely person im not trying to attack just warning others to look for another tutorial because this one is lacking of security

@@soulmama693Agreed, after one day nobody has “mastered” a back carry. This is not secure carry and could actually be dangerous if someone tried it with a small baby.

I thought you couldn’t wear a newborn on your back? Per the ending part of the video.
