I found another good way to lace them; tighten them up (not too tight) to where the middle of the shoe bulges out a little. The laces should be long and even. Tie them up the traditional way a little tight, and then pretty loosely double knot it. If you liked the fresh, out-the-box look (the second one in the video), but don't like how it only loops out from one side, this knot will satisfy your style.

I have all sorts of different ways to do laces.. right know on my shoes I have some with the factory knot, others with the "loose goosy", standard knot, I tie the laces behind the tongue on some of them.. whatever looks nicest with the shoe
