@JordanSteele: which fingering would you suggest for the 1st lick? You use the pinkie at some point, but not when you play it the first time. I can't decide... As for the 2nd lick, sounds like B major scale to me, not C# minor nor E major, or am I wrong? Nice licks btw!

Thank you! I just listened to the song. It seems to be major scale based rather than pentatonic. However, Matthias Jabs has a very different approach to shred runs than Paul Gilbert does.
