Interesting video. I know it's far easier said than done but you'd get far better results, I think, you could engineer a die-press for making that silver coin. I'm guessing there's a very good reason why the Royal Mint never use sand-casting to make their coins.....
@ShroomDay0117 brother has the same furnace as you melts silver makes jewellery he is an awesome friend from the USA have a watch. Heating the molds helps the silver flow as its the best conducter for heat it soon cools down from the cool sand. He had a learning curve on silver but his casted pieces he sells at auction. They are awesome. Start with the sweets you did the love heart ones they will come out mint.
@@meltingipswich mate you should concentrate on getting little ones perfect. Them sweets are perfect start. Don't even film just melt pour melt pour until you can do it everytime perfect can not wait to see them.
I just couldn’t tell if it was completely melted or not in the electric furnace and with the end result the detail is not that good so I think I will use this piece of silver to play with in the future
🤣😂I know. This was the very first time I’ve melted pure silver but I think that piece will be my bit to play with and cast alsorts. Thank you for watching 👍
Didn't expect it would come out that good as it did even with defects in it. Was pretty cool to see.

Silver has to be poured really quickly from the furnace
But what ever you melt it into it will keep the same value 👍
