Has anyone else tried a capsule wardrobe before? Do you find it helpful editing down your clothes each season? Your hair is so beautiful, i must say this style and color looks the best on you in my opinion and this fringe length opens up your face even better. Hello Ms. Jess, I actually like your hair style. No matter, you look beautiful & stylish. You really have me loving khaki shade pants/trousers. Like you, I usually dress in neutral colors. However, I purchased a pair of linen pants in a burnt orange shade. I love the pop of color without it being to overwhelming. The last video you did encouraged me to try a pop of color, thank you😊. I discovered Beauty Pie about two years ago. It was a nice surprise to see it in today's video. Lovely outfits & great style tips. I love the green bathing suit & absolutely love this outfit on you. I don't have a capsule wardrobe, apart from the very heavy items, coats and jumpers, I tend to wear the same stuff most of the year! It's lovely to see those colourful pieces that are not 'on trend', everyone just looks identical otherwise! Hey Jo, it sounds like you’re already pretty good at keeping your rail in check👍 I think that’s the key really, whether you change your rail with the seasons or just put your coats away when it’s too hot, it just makes it so much more manageable:) And so much easier to put outfits together too😊 We’re at Latitude festival this weekend which has been so much fun🕺 Hot in the sunshine but a good giggle all round. Oh I’m so so happy to hear I’ve helped a little:) Yes it’s very easy to get lost down a ‘unique’ or the opposite ‘plain’ collection and I really find having a balance similar to this is the most versatile. It’s a little bit of trial and error but once you get into the flow of it you’ll be off and running😊 You’ll then find you can just put outfits together without even really thinking about it x
Wish Beauty Pie was a thing I could get here. I love me some skin care, hate the prices. Loved the video Jess! A lot of inspo here. And I agree about rewearing old favorites. I'm not completely immune to trends, but the older I get, I like what I like and I don't find myself chasing them. Summer is always so hard to dress for, it's not like fall or winter where you can be an onion with layers. But it's the first year that I've felt like I'm getting somewhere in my closet and not suffering under the sun! I hope you're having an amazing weekend!
Hi Jess! 🌸🥰 Staying at my cottage in the south of Norway for 3 weeks, my summer capsule is very casual indeed! Love your capsule! An alternative to mostly neutrals, I enjoy colours and prints, making sure I have a neutral (mostly cream) bottom or top to go with them. I need quite a lot of sweaters as we dont have a heatwave and we spend a lot of time in a boat. I have fallen for maxiskirts and have one cream and one bright pink, demin shorts in blue and white, plenty of t shirts with fun prints and sweaters. Love from Norway😊

Ever since I was 12 years old and my mother sent me to a beauty school where they cut my bangs really short!! My hair stylist that I've had for many years knows to only trim them a bit whenever I see her. They are always below my eyebrows as well. 🥰

Great content again Jess , i work with an all year capsule and throw a few seasonal items into the mix , i used to have loads of mis match clothes and nothing to wear !!!and your so right that a few different accessories , belts etc , make the same outfit look different ! My favourite outfit was the white jeans and pretty , frilly top ! So feminine and def my cup of tea 😀 and ps fringe looks great ! 🌸

I repeat outfits all the time, but I find it easier with simple, solid-color items than with statement pieces like boho dresses. The more bright color, big, non-classic patterns and trendy details an item has, the more memorable it is. The navy jersey dress is exactly the kind of item that I would get tons of wear out of.
Yes you’re right Kimberly, those ‘unique’ pieces are harder to get away with repeating. But I do think it’s important to have at least a couple of items in your wardrobe just because you love them. I find their the outfits I reach for when I need a little boost, almost like your foolproof garments that always make you feel nice 😊 x

Oh I’m so so happy to hear I’ve helped a little:) Yes it’s very easy to get lost down a ‘unique’ or the opposite ‘plain’ collection and I really find having a balance similar to this is the most versatile. It’s a little bit of trial and error but once you get into the flow of it you’ll be off and running😊 You’ll then find you can just put outfits together without even really thinking about it x

Summer is always so hard to dress for, it's not like fall or winter where you can be an onion with layers. But it's the first year that I've felt like I'm getting somewhere in my closet and not suffering under the sun!

Hi Jess! 🌸🥰 Staying at my cottage in the south of Norway for 3 weeks, my summer capsule is very casual indeed! Love your capsule! An alternative to mostly neutrals, I enjoy colours and prints, making sure I have a neutral (mostly cream) bottom or top to go with them. I need quite a lot of sweaters as we dont have a heatwave and we spend a lot of time in a boat.
I have fallen for maxiskirts and have one cream and one bright pink, demin shorts in blue and white, plenty of t shirts with fun prints and sweaters.

Ever since I was 12 years old and my mother sent me to a beauty school where they cut my bangs really short!! My hair stylist that I've had for many years knows to only trim them a bit whenever I see her. They are always below my eyebrows as well. 🥰

Great content again Jess , i work with an all year capsule and throw a few seasonal items into the mix , i used to have loads of mis match clothes and nothing to wear !!!and your so right that a few different accessories , belts etc , make the same outfit look different ! My favourite outfit was the white jeans and pretty , frilly top ! So feminine and def my cup of tea 😀 and ps fringe looks great ! 🌸

I repeat outfits all the time, but I find it easier with simple, solid-color items than with statement pieces like boho dresses. The more bright color, big, non-classic patterns and trendy details an item has, the more memorable it is. The navy jersey dress is exactly the kind of item that I would get tons of wear out of.

Yes you’re right Kimberly, those ‘unique’ pieces are harder to get away with repeating. But I do think it’s important to have at least a couple of items in your wardrobe just because you love them. I find their the outfits I reach for when I need a little boost, almost like your foolproof garments that always make you feel nice 😊 x

I moved for work, and just packed one large suitcase of clothing... 3 months later and I realized the suitcase had become my winter capsule wardrobe. It was the most organized I’ve ever been in my life

Yes so true! And before that I hadn’t realize that thermals are the most essential staple to any winter capsule. You can literally wear anything if you’ve got the “right” undergarments
