I will NEVER get tired of hearing Bruce's Stu Hart impression. "Eh, meh, how 'bout for eh Bret eh, how 'bout bringin' in that eh fuckin' RHINO, eh Neidhart, the big bastard......" - so much so that when Jim Neidhart sadly passed away, the first thing I did when I read the news was go (as Stu) "Eh, no eh, not the fuckin' RHINO!"
One thing I'd like to say: Conrad should dial it back on making Bruce do impressions on the spot. Like issuing commands to a dog. Let it happen organically. It's so much better like that!
Wrestling fans seriously do forget about the pressure than Bruce is under right now. Having to fill his normal duties plus not having the man who ruled the BUSINESS for 40 plus years is a major responsibility and a big change to deal with. If fans can stop being trolls for a brief moment and try to understand the HISTORICAL shift in business that is currently taking place, then maybe we can get back to just being fans and enjoy the fact that Bruce is still willing to do the damn podcast. Being a troll isn’t relevant. We’re all fans. Enjoy the business and Bruce’s willingness to still do the show. Keep up the good shit Conrad and Bruce!! The marks will listen regardless! 💯💯💪
Bret always played his role to perfection. He was great no matter his spot. He took pride in the simplest matches to the most complex and I miss that kind of wrestler. They do not exist anymore. Lawler was into little girls. Who cares what he thinks
For a guy a lot of people love to mock, he was the war horse for a long time. His matches will always hold up, and alot of the GOATs say he was there best match. I think if Vince would have kept him, he would have made the wwf the money back once 98, 99, 00 rolled around.
I didn’t realize till years later but he was my favorite. I look at my favorite matches and he’s in everyone. But it’s his cry baby attitude after his career that I think rubs people the wrong way today, myself included, get over the screw job already
@@Ziki-P "Don't be bitter" is easier said than done after being so viciously betrayed by a boss you looked up to as a father figure and thought you could trust, who then mocked you on tv for weeks or months afterward.

Bret just doesn’t change his story or his reasons for not wanting to drop the title to Shawn. The court case shows Vince was aware rigging owen the way they did was unsafe, and the most experienced rigger in the business told them so. They went ahead and hired someone else and the clip on the harness was not rated for anywhere close to a 220-230 lb man. Bret really had good reason to never trust or work with Vince again. Vince certainly didn’t intend to kill Owen, but forgiving Vince shouldn’t have been easy for Bret.
Bret totally suffered for a poor roster. I saw and interview with him and he mentioned possible talks about him vs Jake and vs Warrior. He needed legit opponents. Poor guy was just working with what he had.
Too bad the two most important questions. Why was the decision made to take the title off Bret in 1994 Why was the decision made to put the title back on Bret in 1995

Diesel squashing Bob Backlund at a house show for the belt is on par with some of the worst WCW booking. It’s obvious why the company was in shitter at the time with booking like that. The psycho on Backlund storyline was by far the most interesting thing in the company and so ahead of it’s time. The possibilities were endless with that storyline and you killed it at a house show.
