Gregorian chant is very very old. Composers aren’t always known. I sang in a Latin Gregorian chant choir for five years. It was a beautiful holy experience.
@@valeriapacella5394it could be from an altar piece in a church. It looks damaged. A lot of them were damaged in Europe during WW ll. the Nazis stole a few of those magnificent altar pieces and other liturgical art, along with every other great piece of art they could get their hands on. The Ghent altar piece was one of the most magnificent and luckily the Nazis stored all that art in salt mines in the Bavarian mountains which preserved it. . Otherwise it would be lost to the ages.
