Looking forward to more content about this thing ❤i like how in depth you are - the rest of these creators have this stupid assumption that we all know everything about gpu cpu etc etc 🤒 thank you for being here for the chill guys lol
@@lawrencecarter5522 it depends, I picked the Ally X because I thought it had better ergonomics and the massive 80whr battery so I don’t have to worry about battery life as much.
This set up should apply to both previous Ally’s, as well as other PC handhelds as far as I know. Some little details might be different here and there but the majority of it should apply
You have been misinformed. MS Edge is just Chrome with a different skin, they are the same under the hood. Internet Explorer is the one that you should avoid.
:O well you learn something new everyday then i suppose hahah. on my usual rig i tend to avoid chrome also but its an easy and well known browser to use
new stuff is always around the corner by the time you wait and buy the new legion go or msi claw there will be rumors of the Ally 2 and so on and so forth. in my case the ally x is out and readily available and does everything i want it to as well as everything being announced is largely an unknown when it comes to price vs performance
Sure there is always new tech but most jumps are incremental and we can usually expect around a year with new devices before this happens. This one though, does promise to be quite a massive jump after getting a look at the latest processors. I won't be upgrading from the Ally X just yet, but I just would not encourage anyone to buy it right now, which is all I said initially.
@ totally fair and valid point. until reviewers get their hands on these devices for proper benchmarking we won’t know what these new processors actually are capable of in the real world, I don’t think it’s unwise to buy an ally x now nor do I think it’s unwise to wait for the new products. the ally x has been out for a while now and is proven so if it checks all your boxes there is nothing wrong with buying it in my opinion
@@raiusdaltar1483 I don’t think there is any way to avoid FOMO though which is mainly what I’m getting at. If you like something there’s nothing wrong with buying it, worst case you return it or sell it to upgrade at a later date

Rog ally x vs Lenovo legon go which one's better
@@lawrencecarter5522 it depends, I picked the Ally X because I thought it had better ergonomics and the massive 80whr battery so I don’t have to worry about battery life as much.
I think ally x but can you just use a monitor to make the screen bigger
@@lawrencecarter5522 yeah of course you can just hook it up to a monitor with a usb4 dock or hdmi to usbc cable
Will these setup work for the original Rog ally. I opt to buying that instead of the Ally X

truly an exciting time to be a tech / handheld enthusiast though
