BMW G82 M4 Gets H&R Sport Springs! FULL INSTALL DIY + BEFORE & AFTER!

  • We got around to lowering this beautiful 2021 BMW G82 M4 on a set of H&R Sport Springs. The car is also fitted with a set of wheel spacers (F 17MM & R 15MM) to help achieve an aggressive stance along with the newly lowered ride height. Overall the H&R Sport Springs offer an OEM like feel in terms of ride quality, but with the added benefits of a lowered vehicle. It's a great setup for the street and seriously helps to achieve the awesome OEM+ look many of us desire. An alignment is highly recommended after install as well since much of the car's suspension is tampered with in order to install the springs. If you enjoyed this video/DIY please make sure to leave a thumbs up and subscribe for more awesome content! Cheers!

These new M cars look so much better lowered. My exact spec right here, just missing the m bucket seats 👌

bucket seats would be the cherry on top for sure!

I use mine as a gt car so I didn’t pick the bucket seat either. Stock seats are excellent 👌

Great install video! Simple and effective. I'm sure this will help tons of G8X owners install their springs.

I prefer this install over removing the front Axel bolt which is single use and has a unique torquing procedure. Great job!!

His vehicle is RWD, most likely have to remove it so axle doesn’t seperate on xdrive

Excellent video! I’ve a G87, and I think it should be a very similar method to lower the car.

I love the look of the lowering springs and spacers. I want to get them for my g82 m4 too, did you ever feel like it was so low you had to stress a lot about pot holes or bumps? Did it ever feel cumbersome at that ride height?

🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻, What an awesome video! There aren't that many videos out there talking about mods on the g80 and g82 and also for the X3MC, X4MC, thanks for sharing it, they are always welcome...

Everyone hates on these but the car is literally function over form. It set a 7:30 at the nurbergring which is insane, which is very close to the m4 gts models. I cant imagine a g8x gts model or of the sort

My experience with H&R springs few years back in both E93 M3 and Audi Rs5 was not pleasant. Both cars looked much better but the ride was ver bouncy. I hope the ride is better on the G82.

I dunno man, TBH I heard alot of people telling me springs aren't very good with wear and tear, they eventually put alot of stress on the vehicles shocks, leaking etc.

I can't figure out how to drop front strut down and pull out towards me to remove springs . Mine drops down and the strut won't clear wheel well nor does the rotor feel like it's leani g out enough to get acess to remove and put in new spring. I'm stuck right now. Put everything back together. Does xdrive make a difference in install process? I'm following every step

  • @matthewprosser2784

Hey man. The top nut, which has the sensor, spins and won't come off. Is this spinning the strut? Will it only come off with an impact driver?

So..this is a non x-drive car?? Correct? Can you just lower the control arm/strut on an x-drive car and rotate it out? I would guess not??? Do you have to disconnect the front axle by taking out the center bolt??

  • @haryzsetyautama1762

Hello , how do you compress the front coil spring or just loosen the top bolt?

    • @louknapp4257
      @louknapp4257 ปีที่แล้ว

they showed it - you jack up the lower control arm and take pressure off of the coil before taking off that upper bolt on the strut.
