I know this video was done years ago. I just want to add that this is one of my desires to add to my paintings. Whether it be chrome on cars reflections in windows I know this technique will help with all. You did a wonderful job and note that the reflections do not have to be precised and detailed for the viewer to know what they are looking at. Job well done.

Is it harder painting with oil or water colors?
Also, do I need specific paper or something to paint in with oil colors? Do I also need specific penels (I mean can I use some cheap ones xd)?

wow i have got to learn more about glaze! thank you for the beautiful work! it makes me want to paint ever so much more! do you have any tips for watercolors,making them a bit more vibrant or even getting a darker color with out losing or muddying up the main color? i get so frustrated, it feels like i waste so much time & material trying to get the colors right.
Hello Tialisa and thank you for your comment and question. I have a few watercolor tutorials in my playlist "Painting Tutorials" which you can find on my main channel page. In regards to mudding, I don't like mixing colors with white (in watercolor) because they muddy. And for darkening, it may help if you use a pure, dark color, rather than mixing many. I hope that helps!

Thank you for your comment. I actually pulled several photos of spheres to have as reference and I based the pencil mostly on one of them, although I put some of my own.
do you tone the canvas also with oil paint, or what kind of paint?
Most of the time (like in this one), yes. I do. When I'm in a hurry for it to dry, to begin painting, then I do it with acrylic paint. (Never paint acrylic on oil paint as it will eventually fall off. But you can paint oil on acrylic paint.)

Do you think you can use watercolor to paint one of Bob Ross painting ?
I think it wouldn't be able to get the intensity that he gets with oil paint.
