Most people bashing this thing haven’t driven one. Got one for invoice price and really like it. Smooth, quiet, plenty of power. Only down side is premium gas.
Drove one a month ago … horrible power delivery. I’m not expecting sports car acceleration, but it was painfully slow & the powertrain just felt “overworked.”
Have you driven one? It feels like it's doing less work than the V8 did previously. My neighbor has 37s on his and it feels like the engine is doing less than the v8 with 35s. *He's had both and I've driven both in exchange for him driving my old Z. I wouldn't want the 37s...just talking about what the engine is doing
@@veganpottertheveganyup. It will power you all the way to the dealership to get the engine replaced. You know what never needed a replaced engine? The V8.
@@skifishride438 lol okay, these hybrids 4bangers don't even notice these big tires. Its nothing to them. Drive one it will surpass your expectations
@@skifishride438 people said the same thing about the old Prius and their battery packs. But many are over 500k miles and counting. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the V8. This is simply better.
on the big island of Hawaii they are still marking up Ram trucks with market adjustments. That Toyota engine in the land cruiser feels like its going to fall apart when reving it out.
It's pricing is like everything right now! Through the roof from a gallon of milk and eggs to car's and truck's! Just gotta wait a bit hopefully everything settles back down Who makes that lift for those??
Dear Toyota, there is a troublesome special consumption tax problem in our country. This new model vehicle is currently worth 284,000 dollars in our country. This tax is also applied to all other model vehicles. Please, as Toyota, address this issue. If it does not work, please withdraw from our country as a reaction. For us, buying a vehicle is now a dream. Try this for us.
Test drove one & they’re brutally underpowered. I have to believe that’s why sales are supposedly slow for these. I live in import crazy California & these are sitting on lots here.
I find the acceleration and braking to be choppy, don’t you? Like the gas pedal is too touchy, and the transmission gets confused when downshifting during braking to a stop. Leads to a very unrefined feel. My 5th gen 4Runner was slow, but the driving dynamics were way more refined than the two LC 250s I test drove.
Why is this a bro build and not an off-road capable build? I would say it is definitely more off-road capable now. I myself would never buy a lifted vehicle from the dealership just because they charge way too much money but I suppose what you’re paying for is a warranty.
Have had my 1958 for a month and love it. Plenty of power, comfortable on longer trips and just love the simplicity of everything. Only drawback for me is the tiny gas tank!
Just no! It’s like body dysmorphia syndrome in vehicle form. This race to always jack things up and put the biggest tires on them just doesn’t make sense and I like off-roaders.
@@justinmcroberts4633man you must have tested a bad one, the battery kicks on when you give it gas around 55-65 and it goes good, never thought it didn’t have enough power, I also drive a TRX also to compare.
WTF is a “ bro build”? What kind of kit is it? Is it just a preload collar? Does it use stock springs/shocks? What is the wheel offset? What is the tire width? Absolutely no pertinent information. I am assuming for $15K it must be a stage 3 lift, but you provide no details. Ugh, waste of time. Thanks.
Thats a silly statement, little guy.😂They didn’t keep it around. They made some cheap pseudo LC with a 4 popper under the hood and slapped a badge on it.👍🏻
It’s insane that Toyota is trying to sell this hunk of 💩 & is still bringing the FJ back to market w/ a V6 ….theyre putting their own nail the LC’s coffin😂😂😂
Boy, that hood sounded cheap closing. Why mod a vehicle that isn't worth modding? You're probably better off leasing than buying these cheap ass vehicles built today......
“Market Adjustment” on a model that’s not selling? Brilliant.
It's marked up because the demand is higher than production
Definitely noticing them a lot lately here in California. I gotta say it looks very cool in person with the unpainted bumper.
The market adjustment should be -$12,000
Looking forward to the first V8 swap video on these LC250

Turbos are the replacement for displacement!
Glad you like it but premium gas is def not the only downside😂

Nice lift and beefy tires. Now all it needs is a V-8 transplant.
That 4cyl will be busy keeping those tires rollin

@noctilucent7396 yup, the engine is barely being stressed. It has an 11:1 compression ratio which is quite low for a modern 4 cylinder
What a difference....that turned out great. If you can find one on 37s that would be very informative for your jeep audience
Not bad looking Toyota land cruiser looks good for a suv
76k... wow

Bronco Raptor's have just been reduced to the same price
Hello where ?? Plz I am in Ny
I would drive any where to get it that price ?? Thanks
@gabriellehernandez8934 I've seen a few.
Two at Basil Ford in Niagara Falls New York. Check their website
@gabriellehernandez8934 basil ford in niagara falls ny. They have 2

Cool looking setup. $76k! I would just rather have a raptor for that price.

Thanks for mentioning they ruined the suspension by eliminating downtravel
Ben didn't you just get rid of your LC250?

I tried out 1958 it doesn't seem to have the torque like my tacoma trail hunter maybe trail hunter is geared deferent
I like it but nothing about it says 1958 ? A jeep sport is closer to anything they had in 1958 then this or is that not the point ? Idk
That looks great
How’s the ride quality compared to the 200 and compared to stock? I know you were having some issues with your 250 after upsizing the tires.
76 for a 4cyl
Why lol 😆
4banger supremacy
You know for that price you’re better off with the GX550
@@Wishwc1im not trusting that bearing munching v6.
Wow! Just imagine how much that 4cyl will scream trying to drag those big tires around.🤦🏼♂️

Karl Malone stealing off the court too huh
326 hp or 267 hp ???
326HP, 465FTLB of Torque...
So $15k for a lift kit and Market Adjustment? Swing and a miss.....
It does look much better lifted. Not enough for me to buy it though.

I actually like the the 1958 trim, i don’t get all the hate.

What engine is in your 200 series
@ I’m in the US - the 5.7L V8
Agreed. Tested a 260. Runs great until 55mph. There’s no power left at 65+mph with any kind of headwind.

Anything dealer installed isn't worth it. Very likely a spacer or collar lift. Every dealer built truck I've ever seen is a joke.
