I wish I had watched your video before I bought my griddle. I had the same damage/craftmanship issue when placing the plate on the burner base. I contacted the seller about it he didn't know this seems to be a QC issue. I fixed mine and assembled it, but I wasn't happy thinking I had received someone else's damaged return.

I have the exact same model. I bought it in June. It's almost September and I'm still trying to get it to ignite. I'm working on it. Maybe by Christmas I will have it figured out.

Yes, it took some tweaking on the electrodes to get it just right

The mounting screws for the side table extension - Did you have to fight to loosen those screws? Mine were so tight I couldn't break them loose with just a Phillips screw driver.
